I purchased the first one of these and noticed that the ring that it comes with does not attach to my 35mm lens. The flash does come with various attachments so that it is able to connect to several sized lenses. The first problem is that there is nothing to keep the ring in one orientation. It swivels all around. I returned the item and got another thinking it was defective. The second arrived identical to the first. This was annoying as now Id have to hold the ring in place if I want to use the left/right flash feature. Ok, whatever, I can live with that for the price. I left the right in its box for a few months. I just got it out today to reconnect it to my camera and it wont turn on. New batteries and all, the piece of junk wont start up. So much for the inconvenience stated earlier. I purchased the initial item back in March 2018, the replacement arrived in April so its been less than a year and its already not working. Very disappointed with this purchase.
