Works excellent with my SB-500 and my ancient SB-30 (although that flash is not iTTL compatible, it does work with the manual modes). I Got this as a second remote unit since I already have the X1N-T+R set, and wanted a 2-flash system Id definitely recommend this to anyone looking at an inexpensive off-camera flash solution, with existing iTTL flashes, that wants a little more flexibility than the CLS system can achieve at a MUCH lower pricepoint.

At first I couldnt get it to receive power settings from the transmitter. After a bit of searching found that my Nikon SB-700 needs to be set to TTL (not described in manual) . So after setting TTL on the flash, it then works great. Some light meters can trigger flashes via radio trigger but I cant find a light meter that will trigger these. Otherwise, it works as expected.

I have tested with "dumb" speedlights and also used with my studio strobes. Works well. As with the sending unit - the door that covers the ports does not stay in place now that it has been opened. Other than that, I am looking forward to getting more Godox products.

I have a Nikon D5600. I use the transmitter to fire two flash strobes using this receiver. The flash strobes are a Metz 45CT-5 and a Sunpak 544 flash units. There is no way I can connect either flash unit directly to my camera because it would fry my camera electronics. This solution proved to work out perfectly, especially because I purchased the flash units on Ebay for less than $100. I am on a tight budget and this was the best solution to a Lumedyne or Speedotron studio strobe system. I did have Paramount Sync Cords customize a sync cord for the Metz and the Sunpak flash to connect to the receiver. If you are on a budget, you should consider this combination. Here are a couple of pics I took using the transmitter, receivers and flash units. You will have to set the transmitter to "single pin" manual to use with the Nikon D5600.

An affective tool for wireless photography. I use it in both manual and TTL. Though it includes a manual, I could that online reviews on YouTube told me all I needed to know. I am using this with speedlights and studio strobes. I just works. I would definitely buy this again. I had previously used the yongnuo manual transceivers which also worked as described, but this unit allows direct control of flash output from a distance.

I love the Godox X System. These triggers enabled me to do two things: 1) Allowed me to control my Yongnuo YN685N flashes with complete functionality, using either a Godox flash or trigger on my Nikon camera. 2) Allowed me to do the same as number 1, but using a Godox flash or trigger on a Fujifilm camera instead. I can now use different camera systems to control the same set of lights. That greatly simplifies things for a lot of shooting situations. It also saves a lot of money since I dont need different sets of lights for different camera brands/platforms.

Use in tandem with Godox flash trigger works with any Speedlight for Nikon flash units or other units built for Nikon.

The receiver works great. I am using the Sony version Godox transmitter on my camera and it controls the Godox the power and triggers the flashes. I also have Flashpoint strobes so I use these receivers to fire them. I cant control the power of the strobes, but they fire just fine.

Switched from a trigger/receiver/flash set up to this, which, when paired with Godox strobe, eliminates the need for a receiver. Praise be! Its very simple to set up and use, very easy to read, and totally reliable. Relatively low tech without endless mysteriously placed sub menus. LOVE.
