Solid watch and beautiful. Not a sport watch.
This is a solid watch. And it's very attractive. For me it is a second, dressier watch. Daily I rely on the GPS and additional features of a sportier Garmin watch. But for days and nights that I'm going out or being professional, the Trend is perfect. The functionality is seamless once you get acclimated to the alternate UI necessitated by the physical watch hands. Charging with wireless is a nice option, though I still mostly use the corded charger since my wireless chargers are all vertical. My only two minor complaints are that 1) timers and alarms don't sync between watches and don't automatically shut off when you're not actually wearing the watch. 2) I'm not a huge fan of any of the available digital watch faces and couldn't find any custom faces on connect IQ that I wanted. Overall I'm very happy with this watch and it fits perfectly for my use case.

A Lovely Smartwatch, But
I was so excited to purchase this watch because I wanted a watch, but also a pedometer--a watch that was stylish, but would discretely track my steps. I could not find a watch that looked like this with a basic pedometer alone, so I purchased this one. That said, after about 2 weeks, I stopped being able to align the hands. It doesn't matter what I do--sync or manually try to align the hands to get the right time--it does not work. So, that is a disappointment for the price. It took me a long time to decide on this specific model, so that makes it even more disappointing. Everything else works well enough with the app, and when you tap the watch, the digital time is accurate. I would just like the hands to work and I don't want to have to sleep in my watch in order to insure that it syncs everything properly. The hands were the main selling point for my purchase. And, I purchased the bezel protector from a different vendor. Overall, a really nice looking watch, solid features that work well with the app (I don't want to share all my personal information with the app and it requests access to a lot), but the hands are difficult to keep aligned and synched with the proper time. I will still wear it and use the pedometer feature and other in app features as desired.

Excellent, maybe some slight tweaking.
I bought this about a month ago, and I am overall happy with it. I wanted a smartwatch that didn't have the typical look of a black shape on my wrist, and Garmin delivered! While I do have small wrists (see attached), this isn't much of a bother since the size isn't outlandish. The steps, heart rate, and everything else seem accurate. The body battery and stress icons are very similar, enough so that I'm still confused if I don't tap and see the clarification. I also take two stimulant medications, and I believe that they are the reason why I am listed as being stressed nearly 16 hours a day! I am still learning all the functions and dials, but I am getting better at it. A lot of my complaints will resolve with time, which is why I'm not listing them here. There is a learning curve. I did see some complaints online about how Apple, for instance, is much more encouraging than the Garmin Connect app. I personally don't really mind it, as I like how straightforward the app is with its analyses and functions. If you like more of a pep talk with your results, you might choose something else. I have had no glitches or app malfunctions either, which I greatly appreciate. The battery life is excellent and I have gotten nothing less than 5 or so days per full charge. The charger they sent with my watch is a type-C, which fits my phone. I actually prefer the clamp style, because I can simply clamp it on and plug it into my phone. I don't lose any data, and it stays on my wrist for the whole process. A major reason why I chose the watch was the durability. I'm not someone who climbs Everest or is into parkour, so I wasn't concerned about smashing it, but the swim rating (you can do scuba diving!) and water resistance were both major factors. I took it with me on vacation and it did fantastic recording data while I was swimming and doing other activities. If I had one major complaint, it would be the standard band. The silicone is, of course, not breathable, and if you're not aware of it, it will trap moisture against your skin. I work in a medical setting and regularly sanitize/wash my hands, so I do have to be mindful. It is not particularly comfortable to wear snug gloves over, as it tends to press further into skin. But, those problems are fixable with a different band (ordering metal soon!) and just being careful. Overall, an enjoyable watch.

Cannot see the watchface
Not happy with the Trend at all. I have the Vivomove Sport that has been good for just over a year. Other than the data screen being small, it's been fine. Just don't let the battery run out or reviving it can be a pain. So, I thought I'd go with the Vivomove Trend hoping I like the larger data screen (who wouldn't?) and hoping it wouldn't lockup as much on low power. After a week I have found it's nearly impossible to read the time no matter the lighting. The hands and the watch face numbers are very muted compared to the Sport making it impossible to easily read the time. It does all the notifications and exercise features fine, but as a timepiece, it's useless! See my picture, the Sport is on the left and the Trend is on the right. Note how dull the numbers and the hands are on the Trend as compared to the Sport making it hard to read. I love the classic look of a hybrid watch. But I need to be able to read it like a classic watch too.

Beyond perfect!
I am beyond impressed! I was skeptical at the accuracy, durability, and how sleek it looked. But- it is absolute perfection! Worth every penny!

Replaced Vivomove HR
(Cream Gold, French Grey Band) Needed a replacement for the HR, as I had it for YEARS and wore it until the screen stopped working (Garmin, you rock!) This is like the upgraded version! I love that it gives you a “Body Battery” and that I can track my water intake from the watch face. The face is so customizable, it’s crazy that they give you so many options. Additionally, the HR would track the distance walked, but did not have GPS features. This Trend will track distance and give you a map of where you walked or ran. My charge lasts around 3-4 days before needing a boost, and probably only takes 15 minutes to get back to a full charge. It also looks very elegant when the face is not lit up. Love it so far!

Love it!
I bought the Vívomove Trend because the Vívomove 3s I purchased in late 2020 was dying. Possibly due to dropping it a few times too many. One of the things I love about this fitness tracker is that it look like a watch and has all the features I need for strength training, Bootcamp, walks and hikes. I have small wrists and it fits me just right.

Looks classy
I previously wore the Garmin Fenix 5S, but now that I'm not actively doing triathlons or marathons, I wanted something a little smaller and something that looked more like a standard watch. I absolutely love the appearance of this watch. It looks very classy and feels a lot lighter than the Fenix 5S. I'm still getting used to the features this watch has. It doesn't have side buttons like the Fenix did. I do like that it has Google pay, although I haven't set it up yet. One thing to note is that the watch hands move when you get a notification, so that it's easier to read. The battery life is about 5 days. The one thing I don't care for on thus watch is that it has the clip charger. I'd like to see Garmin do away with this style of charger. I don't like how flimsy it feels and that it partially clamps to the watch face. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this watch.

Great looks with the right amount of smart
The trend is gorgeous in a minimalist way. It does everything i want out of a smart watch; notifications and music control. And the screen is readable in any light, although it does glare easily. My only complaint, that i expected from yt reviews, is that the touch interface can be a bit finicky. So that occasionally i have to swipe again because it didn’t read the first.
