Cut The Cable!
Nice antenna in a smaller form factor for a tight attic install. Well made. Perfect for our application! If you are mounting in an attic, you will want to go ahead and get the kit with the mast. I paired this antenna with a CM-7779HD amplifier due to a 50+ foot cable run. With proper alignment to line-of-site (non edge [no hills]) towers that are 40 miles from us, we get ABC, NBC, FOX, PBS, CW, and their sub-channels (36 channels total) with no amplifier at 80% signal strength and 100% signal quality (as reported on our LG TV). Picture is perfect and better than the rebroadcasted signals through cable provider. With the amplifier in use, we get 97%+ signal strength and 100% quality on all channels. All of our channels broadcast on UHF here in SW FL, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of VHF reception of this antenna. If your local channels are broadcasting on VHF (RF channels 2 through 13), you will want to really research that aspect. I suspect that no-edge VHF reception within 20 or so miles would be pretty good. For UHF, however, this antenna does a stellar job! I even experimented with out-of-market UHF stations at 63 miles and was able to pick many of those up, but with some break-up on picture quality. So, that's the data on UHF reception in our non-edge area. Buy with confidence. This is really a good UHF antenna!

This antenna delivered for me
This antenna delivered for me. I went from a decent antenna getting 100 channels to now getting 121 channels using the 4MAX. Channels lock in with little to no repositioning necessary for harder to receive channels. Of course, being in a major metro area definitely helps.

Good things sometimes come in small packages
I bought this to replace a large antenna on the roof that was damaged by a hurricane. I wasn't sure something this small could fill the bill but to my surprise it did so and installing it was a breeze. Some assembly was required but it was well documented and easy to do. My towers were located in the 30 to 45 mile range which is well within the range of this unit. I was able to pick up 51 stations all with fair to good reception. I did not mount this on the roof like the antenna it replaced I am getting to old for that stuff but the results are more than enough for me. I would definitely recommend this unit.

ClearStream 4MAX Ultra Long Range Outdoor TV Anten
The antenna was easy to put together, and pretty straightforward installing on an existing mast on my roof once I figured out what connectors to use. I tried orienting the antenna in two different directions based on the transmitter locations listed on the Antennasdirect.com website, and left it oriented such that I get 58 crystal clear channels, most from 70 miles away (I live in Northern California about 70 miles from Sacramento). Extremely pleased with the performance of this antenna. I have it mounted to a mast connected to one of my solar panel frames. The new ClearStream replaced a 12 year old Winegard Omnidirectional TV Antenna that just got old.

Worked the first time I hooked it up -- inside!
This thing works a charm! I have tried indoor antennas before, but none were able to bring in the Nashville, TN, broadcast stations over the many hills and valleys between us and the towers. I designed my own way to mount it in the upstairs loft -- no holes drilled through walls or roof! The result is a broader selection of channels than we'll ever watch! I left myself some play in the pole mount so I can aim the antenna as needed. I don't have to subscribe to cable or live TV streaming to watch NFL football on local stations! All for only the cost of the antenna itself. And I think it looks cool in the loft.

Indoor Attic Installation
Installation in my indoor attic space was smooth. Very excited to be able to get quality reception from most stations. My only struggle so far has been in trying to get good reception for CBS from NYC. All the other major stations come in clearly so it must me the transmission and not the antenna.

BEST TV Antenna, bought 2 & Combined them to get 2
I tried many antennas, live in between NYC and Philadelphia and none of them worked for me good enough. I bought 2 of these each posting to NYC & Philli respectively. Joined them to simple splitter and then the out to TV and I now have access to clear HD TV to stations in both NYC & Philli. I am enjoying NFL games being broadcasted from both stations. Thank you Antennas Direct. I recommend this product

FINALLY CUT THE CORD
Amazing from start to finish Your rep Alex was great and provided general and specific information that made it easy to make my decision. I usually shop around, but it was not necessary. The assembly and installation was easy. I was able to receive over 60 local channels with great reception and we live in a densely forested area. Cut the cable cord and now we are saving over $160 a month.
