Great, powerful antenna
I live in Gulfport Mississippi and I installed this antenna outside pointed towards NewOrleans which is 60 to 70 miles away from my home and I’m picking up 70 channels In New Orleans and the GULFPORT Biloxi area combined. It works better without the amplifier than with the amplifier. The antenna I believe was too strong and does not need an amplifier due to the 17dbi gain.

Great Antenna
I bought this antenna, will admit instructions aren’t that clear - would recommend they get a new technical writer and rewrite these - luckily found a YouTube video and had it not together in 15minutes - I have it next to TV in basement and it’s has great picture, all DTV sub channels - next is to get it up on roof and distributed to house - I have 30 channels all clear, very happy with this antenna - always go with a high gain ant. With greater distance than you need. I am with in 30miles from most all antennas and this High Gain - 70+ mile antenna does great!

Great antenna. Great reception. Upgrade the nuts.
This is a very good antenna. The reception that we get is amazing, as the antenna is on a very tall wind turbine pole. A suggestion for the manufacturer: Skip the plain nuts and lock washers and use nylon locknuts that won't vibrate loose over time. This particular antenna replaces one that came apart in this winter's windstorms. Suggestion for buyers: take the plain nuts to the hardware store and replace then with nylon locknuts, or at least use some thread-lock.

Clearstream DB8E
The DBE8 is the best long range antenna I have used! In my area, my customers can get New Orleans and Baton Rouge channels which brings in 140 channels. This antennas has the best DB levels and has better quality than all competitors!!! See us at kenscustomantennas.com

DB8 retrofit
I was afraid of lightning strikes, so I moved my DB8 from the rooftop to the attic. I made these hangers so I could just hook the antenna over the cross members without having to climb up there to attach the antenna and probably killing myself in the process. It works great! I get just as many channels with the antenna in the attic as I did when it was mounted outside on the roof.

i live in the country and I get 68 channels
I live in the outskirts of Marysville .ca This Antenna picks up kpix channel 5 from San Francisco over 112 miles i can watch my 49ers. it also gets Fox, NBC,cbs,ABC ,CBS from multiple directions to the north Redding and chico and to South Sacramento.

Great antenna
Installed on garage roof. Despite large trees in front of antenna got 45+ channels from 14 or 15 stations in St Louis. Some were full power stations and some were low power stations. They were 28 to 47 miles away. Only one or two of the low power stations would occasionally drop out. We are now moving to the middle of Missouri and the antenna is going with us.

Better image quality than cable
My house in in the shadow of a hill from the TV towers. I used TVfool to do signal analysis which was confirmed by the telephone support / sales person. I angled the two sides of the antenna 77 degrees apart to pick up stations in two directions. I receive all station that I was hoping for. The picture is crystal clear even in wind, rain and hail storms. I wish that I knew the effective cross-sectional area when purchasing a mast.

WOW. Now i get almost 50 channels!
Finally got the DB8E antenna up.Also added clear stream juice amp,the shieled coax cable,distribution amp. Pick up an extra 20 channels. Pretty impressed.
