I find that the Vizio TVs are the best on the market for both cost, and quality. This is the fourth one Ive bought. I even put Vizio TVs in my fifth wheel. Low cost when compared to the other brands, great picture, a quality product, I cant lose with this brand. Its a win-win all the way around. I even bought one for my grand-daughter. The two tvs in the RV get bounced around a lot when traveling, and they have never failed yet. If you lose your remote, replacements are available on amazon.com, as I found out. And they work as advertised.

The TVs picture is fine, sound is OK. But no manual is included, except for one sheet of cartoonish sketches. And downloading and printing the 56 page manual isnt really worth the trouble, since its almost devoid of practical information. The on-screen manual is identical and exactly as bad. Connecting to my stereo and bluetooth input adapter was confusing since connections are hidden and their labels are even more hidden, almost illegible and without explanation. Those of us who dont buy new electronics each year may not know what "component" or "composite" means, and a cartoon showing five connections where there are really three is misleading. Connecting a brand new DVD via HDMI was supposed to be dead simple, one wire, but was a nightmare. I got video with no sound. Vizio tech support said it had to be a problem with the DVD, which I returned for another unit, but it turned out to be incompatible sound settings in BOTH devices, with the Vizios menu system giving no clue as to what or where the proper sound setting was. (It turned out I needed to change a setting in the audio _output_ menu to get the TV to receive audio through its HDMI _input_.) The remote is tiny, with microscopic button labels in low contrast type. There are special colorful buttons near the top for paid services like Netflix, Amazon etc. but there is no button for simple over-the-air TV! For that, you have to search "Input" selections. The technical writers who did the documentation need to switch to writing comic strips. Those who designed the user interface (both on screen and on the remote) need to go back to school. The executives who decided to save money by skimping on paper manuals need to have their iPads confiscated. They should be made to write 1000 times "Customers are not audio engineers" using pencil and paper.

Vizio has great picture but crappy sound (not loud enough) like every other tv out there. Nothing a sound bar won’t fix.

...replaced an earlier version of this television without built-in Chromecast. I like this upgraded and newer version, with more sophisticated menus, and control features. Were using a Vizio 40" 3.1 sound-bar, now, in the bedroom, instead of an Onkyo micro-stereo, and the improved sound has greatly improved the overall experience. The material-quality and picture-quality are flawless!

I bought this to use with my Xbox One. The sound and brightness options are great, the quality of the picture is really good too but I can tell on smaller text that it gets a little blurry. You can connect this tv directly with WiFi to watch Netflix etc which is also a really nice option. The stand is sturdy and has 2 hdmi ports on the back. 10/10 would buy again.

first I think this is refurbished but did not say this on the web page. box was perfect and did not look like it was previously opened. no batteries, the user manual was printed on a copier?? one leg bag was opened?? a screw was floating around in the box (versa mount screw). this is my second Vizo so I knew how to set it up, use casting etc. giving this 4 stars since the audio is not so good, even with equalizer adjustments.

After hours of searching and waiting on the phone with support, Ive been informed that this TV does not actually support the on/off feature which is part of the whole reason I wanted a TV with built in chromecast in the first place. I am very unhappy with this product. It is marketed as having voice control over "Google assistant enabled devices" but now Im getting told by support that this is not true. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TV. Just buy an external chromecast and save your money.
