PROS: VIZIO D32-D1 is a top-of-the-line television. Features that set it apart from others in VIZIOs D-Series televisions are: - Crystal clear 120Hz refresh rate. - Local/Smart Dimming. - ARC. - DTS TruVolume. The 120Hz Effective Refresh Rate makes for a supper-sharp picture. The Clear Action 240 keeps fast moving objects clear and sharp - great for viewing sports. CONS: Youre not going to get a VIZIO D32-D1. You, like me and others in these reviews, are going to receive one of VIZIOS low-end televisions, model D32F-E1. That slight difference in model numbers makes a huge difference. You wont get the advantage of the features noted in the PROS above. In fact, youll receive a $198 D32F-E1 drop shipped from Wallys World. And that, Amazon, is a classic example of BAIT AND SWITCH.

I was unable to use this TV because one of the base legs could not be inserted into its designated hole. The problem was that internal wiring lay on top of the metal upon which the leg would lay. Therefore, these wires blocked me from being able to fully insert the leg. Im assuming this was a defect in the manufacturing process and that these wires should not be placed in such a manner. The photo I am attaching was difficult to take, so that it was sufficiently illuminated. However, the wiring visible in this picture is what is preventing the leg from being fully inserted. I have placed a return request to the shipper ("Shop By Convenience") and expect them to authorize my request. I am assuming that this issue is very rare, but wanted to document that it can occur.

About to order here but wife called from Costco and said it was $10 cheaper and could bring it home now, so went went that way. Ok, the review, I did the research on which tv I wanted based on specs, picked this model cause it was the newest one just coming out a few months ago. I read reviews saying the setup was a pain because of an app you must download. Im thinking how tough could it be. Downloaded app, registered and got tv ready to setup with Bluetooth and wi-fi. Couldnt get the tv to identify channels through my cable box. One thing, I dont use any video apps or any other tv viewing apps such as VUDU or Hulu none. I called VIZIO and the rep informed me that this tv was created for those type of viewers, one that uses those apps. The tv for me was the E32-C1 which is the same tv (2015) but no apps required. Just plug in with HDMI and used as a monitor type tv. Going back to Costco to exchange it for a E32-C1. Ill update once I view it outside, which is why I wanted this 32" LED to enjoy it outside, but store it inside when not in use. Update June 13th. Exchanged for the E32-C1 which is the same TV and just like my other Vizios, I can use the apps if I wanted to by hitting the V symbol and the apps come up at the bottom of the screen. Setup was a breeze, less than 1 minute, picture is awesome, even outside. Very happy with this one, which is the same as the D1 spec-wise. Hope this helped.

As much as I like the TV, I ordered it specifically for the 120hz refresh rate advertised for the D32-E1. What I received was a model number D32F-E1, which has a refresh rate of 60hz and usually costs about $50 less than what I paid thinking I was getting the faster refresh rate. Now I see that both the TV I wanted and this TV are no longer available. "Annoyed" is a very good word for how I feel about it, but its not the end of the world. Still contemplating returning it and trying to find the model I wanted, which is primarily used as a second monitor for my computer.

TV works great on cable TV. Beautiful sharp picture with great sound. On Netflix or Amazon movies though, the audio is horrible. Speech is low and difficult to understand so I turn the volume up and I still cant make out what is being said so I turn it up some more. Then BOOM!!! The scene changes to helicopters crashing, bombs and machine guns going off with the volume so high it all but knocks me off the couch! I grab the remote and turn it down as fast as I can. Then the scene flips back to people mumbling...repeat. I got so mad the other night I had the remote in my hand, arm cocked back, getting ready to throw it at the screen. It took every bit of self control I had to stop myself. Vizio tech help was of no help with this either.

Setup was relatively simple and the picture is OK in calibrated mode, but Im having a major problem with mine in that the HDMI-2 interface fails HDCP handshake. Ive tested with a Roku Stick using no HDMI cable and my DirecTV receiver using an HDMI cable and both fail. The DirecTV receiver works fine on HDMI-1. I have emailed VIZIO support and will update this review when I receive a response back from them. An HDMI port isnt all that useful if you cant view any protected content on it. EDIT: Although technical support wasnt much help, Ive figured out that there is a bug in the sets software that was causing my issue. If I renamed "HDMI-2" to a custom name (in my case "Roku"), the HDCP handshakes would break. The only way I could fix it was by doing a factory reset and then leaving it at its default name. Bumping my review from 2 stars to 4 stars and hoping that they fix this bug.

Im really happy with my new tv. I would have given it five stars but there is just one problem with this tv. All I got to say is dont lose your remote (lucky I havent yet, knock on wood). There is no buttons to turn on or off the tv and no way to change the channels without the remote. Other than that, Im really impressed on how light the tv is and the quality of the picture. I have my Xbox One hook to it and everything is in high def 1080p. I would recommend the tv to others but I would also caution them about the tv not having any buttons.

Beauiful vibrant picture with good sound for a bedroom TV. It was easy to program, with or without computer input. I have replaced several TVs in my home with Vizio TVs.

This was an excellent deal. It is mounted beautifully on my bedroom wall and I look at Netflix or Hulu everyday on it. Awesome picture and sound! The best investment Ive ever made on Amazon.com so far. Please do not listen to the negative reviews. I almost passed up on this deal reading them. This company and the TV were both amazing! I couldnt be happier! Goes great with the Amazon FireStick!
