After 7 months of the tv working fine, with the exception of the Amazon app disappearing, the television screen was covered internally with both horizontal and vertical colored lines. Called customer service, who instructed me to email photos of the tv, along with proof of purchase. I did both, emailing 2 photos as requested of the t.v., and the email receipt. Received an email reading that neither was received. Sent again, then received another email reading that all was received. A customer rep. called me to tell me that tv not covered under warranty because of physical damage done by me. I replied that I did no damage and the rep. pretty much called me a liar. I asked to have a written explanation as to why the warranty will not be honored and the rep. refused, saying that he is not authorized to do so. I have been a loyal customer of Vizio t.v.s for over 10 years, have 2 additional Vizio t.v.s, but I will never purchased another product from this company. They have complete disgregard for their customers and have total indifference to the fact that they are losing a customer.

The picture on this TV is great and easy to use, but the audio has been troublesome since I bought it. Twice repairmen have been sent to replace the speakers but the same problem persists. The sound is reverberating during certain programs/volume. Obviously the design of the speakers is faulty and I do not feel I should have to purchase a sound bar to fix the inherent problems with this TV. I will not be purchasing a Vizio in the future. I wish I had returned it right after I bought it, when I first heard the bad audio. Now I am stuck with a bad TV. Finally the company sent me a rebuilt TV and when it arrived it had exactly the same problem the original set had. When the repairman came out again, he replaced the speakers. The audio problem seemed to be better, but I do not trust the fix, so I finally broke down and bought myself a soundbar. I should not have had to do that but I am tired of dealing with this same audio problem for a year and my warranty is now up. Stay away from Vizio until they figure out what they are doing wrong and fix the problem.

I got this TV for under 200.00 dollars and let me tell you, the picture is great. The refresh rate is 120hz which helps with the picture quality. The sound is so -so which is why I got their new for 2017 36 inch 2.1 soundbar for around 115.00 dollars and now I am rocking with the solid gold Baby! Nice TV for my workout room.

I just purchased this tv. The picture is great and the set-up is seemless. However, if your intent is to use Alexa or other unistalled apps with this television look elsewhere. If an app is not already installed on the television you will not be able to add it. Im trying to decide if I will keep or return.
