Just plain awesome. I was scared to purchase this TV because at the time I did, there were zero reviews. I found it odd that this model was cheaper then the TCL 2017 “55 inch for $100 more sold by another seller on Amazon. So I compared both TVs on another site stats wise and found both were exactly the same. I took a chance and saved $. TV arrived in three days. Box was in perfect condition along with Television. Quality of screen 10. Sound 10. Plays my ps4 pro like a boss. TV is super light for it’s size. Came with one remote with easy controls. I added LED lights to the back of mine and damn it looks good. No weird spots or shadows on screen like some reviews had reported on other size TCL’s. I’m adding a sound bar soon but not because it needs it. I hadn’t heard of TCL before but I’m VERY happy with my purchase and plan on buying two more soon.

With no hesitation TCL tvs are just the best. very good sound especially if you put a home theater system on it. Very good menu interaction, easy set up and very good picture quality. This TV does not need much said, it is one of the best on the market. I havent observed anything about the TV that needs a complain. It is quite awesome. (GREAT PRODUCT).

Great TV, do all the research you want and you will find that this is a no brainer. I own a high end custom electronics company and have been in the business since plasmas were $10,000. I own and use this tv. I calibrated it myself (THX,ISF, ISF2 certified) and it is basically perfect across the board for picture quality. Far better than my brothers brand new uncalibrated samsung that was $2000. As for a comparison you will have to spend $1500 just to match the performance, and then only few will. If you feel like this "isnt enough tv" for you then go with the TCL P-series and game over. hope this helps.

I just bought this TV a few hours ago. I bought mine at Costco because it was cheaper than Amazon. Ive always had Samsung TVs and loved them, so I was nervous to buy a cheaper, less known brand. I use my TV for gaming and it looks pretty incredible considering how cheap the TV is. In response to the person talking about the remote (who doesnt even own the TV), all of the inputs are combined in the TVs interface and select them with the push of a button on screen. Its very streamlined and responsive. The TV is definitely worth the money. Obviously there are much better TVs out there but for the price, this one is tough to beat.

Very happy with this tv. Had an issue with snowy picture and Rey of TCL walked me through on the set up I had made. Problem was not a tv problem, but a setup problem on my behalf. Highly recommend this tv. Paul M.

I dont own this TV, but a friend does and I used it pretty extensively the last time I was at his house as I was until today buying a new TV. I decided to go with an LG over the TCL Roku TVs even though I want Roku. One major reason is the remote, it is just a Roku remote with no buttons for switching between inputs, making screen adjustments, etc. If you are capable of somehow controlling these things it isnt obvious with an assigned and identified(labelled) button. I will have a 4k Blu-ray player, a PC and other things connected to my TV, so easy access to changing devices is a key point to the remote. The other things I noticed concerned the Roku functions, it lagged in ways my current Roku stick doesnt lag. I got a Roku Stick+ 4k for Christmas because the regular(HD) one was out of stock and I figured I would be getting a 4k TV soon. I like the user interface better on the Roku Stick compared to the TV. It seems the processor in the Roku Stick+ 4k is either faster or just runs smoother compared to these TVs built in Roku. On a positive the TV had a decent picture, the sound which didnt matter to my decision because I will have a home theater stereo system, wasnt bad for a flat panel TV. If you want a TV and just plan to use nothing but Roku his TV at the right price may be fine for you but to me since I had experience with one of the latest Roku devices, the function and lack of remote functions made this TV a no when my money was being used to buy it.
