Works perfectly. I bought this TV for my kitchen. Initially purchased an under cabinet mount for it, but that didnt work out. The TV is so much lighter than I expected, I was concerned using the mount would cause it to break (pushing and pulling on it). I had a recipe book stand that turned out to be perfect. Additionally, I did not want unsightly cables, so signed up for a TV streaming service. The speakers are fine - loud enough and not too tinny sounding. I could not be happier with this purchase.

OK, lets get the good out of the way first. I desperately wanted a small white TV like this one to blend in with my all white desk, white speakers, etc. Its a really cute little TV and the picture is decent for one so small. I recommend hooking it up via HDMI cable instead of using the cable company cable going straight into the unit. Just dont expect quite the kind of picture youd get with a larger flat screen, because youll be a bit disappointed. I mainly use this TV to watch the news in my kitchen. Its a good looking TV and Im happy with the way it blends in to my environment. It is super lightweight can can be effortlessly moved around on my table. FLAW #1: The worse aspect of this TV is that the viewing angle for the best possible picture is directly in front of it. If you are viewing it from a higher vantage point or from one or the other side, the picture degrades badly. The picture gets very washed out the higher your eyes are and sadly, most people will be sitting higher than their TV or watching it while standing in their kitchens. I was so bothered by this that I almost sent it back. However, I was lucky to have found a wedge-shaped piece of plastic at work and jury-rigged a little wedge stand that angled the TV backwards. This improved the picture quality a lot. This is an unforgivable flaw and one that the company can easily fix by creating a new stand for it that allows you to tilt the TV backwards. Its worth fixing, because I think a lot of people will be attracted to the size and color of this little TV - it looks magnificent sitting on my desk next to my computer (both of which are sadly in my kitchen area). FLAW #2: The ports on the back of the TV are located in a recessed space or depression. This makes connecting stiff cables highly difficult, as you need to bend them quite a bit in order to plug anything in (co-axial cable or HDMI). I cursed up a storm trying to plug in my HDMI cable. Its even more difficult with a stiff co-ax cable. I cant even fathom how anyone could design something so stupid. PLEASE FIX THIS, SUPERSONIC!! A third problem, though not a flaw, is that the sound is REALLY tinny - totally bad - I guess this is to be expected from such a small and lightweight unit. I purchased a little cup-shaped white Infinilla speaker from Amazon for the TV which cost only around $29 and works with the Aux plug on the TV. The speaker is placed over a foot behind the TV, out of sight. What a difference it made! I could have purchased a bigger/better speaker, but the sound is acceptable and much better than what it came with. If I could have given this product 2.5 stars instead of 3, I would have. I think Supersonic should seriously consider upgrading this cute little unit and upping the price for it. I certainly would have been willing to spend $30 to $50 more for one that tilts and has proper plug-in access.

We wanted a small TV to undercabinet mount in our kitchen. It was hard to find a white TV the right size, this was the only one that fit our needs. We were a little wary when we ordered it, but it has performed well so far. It IS extremely flimsy: the mounting bracket we are using is probably twice the weight of the TV and were being careful to grasp the mount when turning or raising the TV for fear it might snap in half. But the picture is good and it has been reliable for more than 4 months now. The initial setup was easy, but when it was being fed by the coaxial from our Comcast box (one of the tiny ones, not a DVR or X1 box) HD channels were not filling the screen and had to be zoomed individually, which was almost a deal-breaker. But when we switched over to an HDMI cable that problem disappeared. We had to get a flexible HDMI cable with a small plug to fit into the TV as the input layout on the back of the TV is a bit tight. There was a little time spent trying to figure out the remote code for the comcast remote (X2) but we eventually stumbled across it: 10178. The only real complaint is with the sound, which is not great. There is very little difference as the volume is raised. Its fine for watching the news during breakfast or while cooking dinner, but dont expect much more. Hard to argue with the price though, happy with the purchase.

This little TV has been perfect for my needs (I usually keep it next to the computer, but take it with me whenever I relax in the spa tub.) However, there are 2 things that could improve it: (1) Better instructions. I had to contact support to find out what the colored buttons on the remote are for because the manual just says "Red, Green, Yellow, Blue" (I thought, "Thats dumb -- anyone can see the colors, but what does it DO?" The manual has a diagram for the remote doesnt show their functions like it does in the diagram for the other buttons (2) It would be helpful if there was a way to til the screen up & down. But considering the price, the picture is fine and Im very pleased with it.

Great value for the money. I wanted a small TV to replace a drop down Polaroid TV in the kitchen. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews about the sound quality and recessed cable sockets but went ahead anyway since I could not find any other TV that matched my criteria. As it turned out I had no problems with the cable attachments, it is not an uncommon arrangement and you would have to have very large fingers or be especially ham-fisted to have a problem. As for the sound it is fine for the kitchen application, it may not be Theater Surround Sound quality but I would not expect that from this size of TV. Great buy fort the price.

We bought this to replace a 22-yr.-old 9.5" screen CRT TV in the kitchen. We used it for a week or so before writing this review to ensure we were knowledgeable about how it worked and how it performed with a variety of channels. . . and whether or not we were going to keep it. As for the latter, we are definitely going to keep it. Its perfect for a kitchen or small room. Pros: Extremely light weight (less than a lb.) and occupies 1/10 the space the old CRT did; good sound, especially for us older folks who have trouble hearing high frequencies; the sound has very little bass, lots of highs; responsive and full-featured remote; reasonably good picture considering its low price. Also, if youre replacing a CRT that you used daily, youll see a slight drop in your electric bill. The TV draws all of 18 watts! Cons: Cannot be paired with the digital adapter remote provided by Comcast, so you have to use the remote that came with it for everything except changing channels and the Comcast remote for channel selection. Dont know for sure, but its unlikely that remotes from any ISP (Verizon, etc.) can be paired with it. To minimize the black top and bottom margins present on all HD channels, you have to set the picture aspect to "Zoom". Doing so also expands the picture width, making people and objects appear somewhat wider than they really are. The picture does not have the brightness of a $1000 LED TV, and has a "blue bias"; i.e., items that would appear pure white on an expensive TV have a bluish tinge. If you decide to buy the TV, we suggest also buying the extended warranty. Why? Two reasons: (1) The manufacturers warranty is a scant 90 days and (2) the extended warranties are ridiculously cheap -- e.g., $3.83 for a 4-year extension!

So far so good. This newer version of this TV (2/2018) has the stand permanently mounted! The only down side was trying to remove the stand to mount it under a kitchen cabinet. The bottom of the stand came off easily but the "post" did not. I had to remove the 4 small screws along the bottom back edge of the TV then slightly open up the TV itself about an inch, yup. You can then take a phillips head screwdriver and remove the 2 screws holding the stand on. Be carefull not to let the screws and pieces fall back into the TV when taking them off, it might be tough to retrive them. It actually only took 2 minutes and is pretty easy to do. Paired it with the $22 Anker Soundcore speaker for much better sound. It is USB powered, my cable box has a USB port on it that I used. You have to provide your own 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cord for the audio connection to this speaker.

Was leary of buying a brand I wasnt familiar with, but this little tv is really nice. Im using it in a powder room so Im not particular about the sound. The sound is a bit tinny so if youre looking for something that has great stereo sound, this is not it. The picture is nice and clear, in fact as nice as Ive ever seen on a small HD tv. And this is the smallest HD TV I could find and Im happy how it sits nicely on the counter. Was simply to set up. The picture is a few seconds delayed when it first comes on, but thats not a deal breaker for me.

I put it on a cookbook stand and it looks lovely on the kitchen counter. It lets me listen to the news while I am in the kitchen cooking. If you have a small space, it’s great.
