Decently made TV. Screen is prone to glare. Cannot access the AV inputs while installed on the TV mount due to how the protective panel opens and closes. So, be sure to have all your connections made before hoisting this up on to the mount. I heavily considered buying cheap TVs with warranties and putting them into an outdoor enclosure. However, the price of the case with fans, heaters, etc., was over $1300. Additionally, you are then watching TV through plexiglass or have to lift the shield up each time you watch. Also, the case doesnt look anywhere near as nice as the aluminum shell installed on the Veranda TV. And the Veranda is noticably brighter than any of the indoor TVs I put outside, despite being in full shade under a patio. The extra brightness makes a huge difference in viewability. For now, I think I made the right decision, usability is so much nicer with this TV than a TV + cabinet option. The AV pay electric on the back has enough room for most items you would use. I am sendig video and audio through a 4K HDMI balun over a single CAT6 cable from the AV receiver in the house. The balun is not small, and it fits easily. Considering the price point, the only way I will feel regret is if the unit fails early but outside of warranty.

I purchased a 55" Sunbrite Veranda series TV to replace an indoor TV that I had originally installed on my screened-in and covered porch. Wow, what a difference! Not only does the Sunbrite TV have an excellent picture, it is noticeably brighter which makes a huge difference outside. On top of that, I can now rest assure that my new TV will last for many more years as it is clearly designed to handle extreme weather conditions. The design of the casing and the input bay (for coaxial, HDMIs, Ethernet, etc) is very well thought out, and I feel very confident that I no longer have to worry about moisture or other environment elements frying my TV. We have plans to expand our outdoor living spaces, and I will definitely be purchasing another Sunbrite TV when the need arises. For anyone considering purchasing once, make sure you take a look at the various series offered (Veranda, Signature, etc), as even though they are all designed for the outdoors, they have various specifications on how well they handle direct sunlight. That was probably my biggest learning during my research.

Arrived timely and well boxed for protection. Did not know it was wall mount only but that was my intention anyways. Picture is very good in bright sunlight, sun does need to be somewhat behind and not shining directly on the screen to view and maintain heat level. A bit pricey but hopefully worth it as our last tv got hit by the smallest amount of water on the screen and stopped working properly.

So I got my 55-Inch Veranda TV just last week and was able to install it on Saturday easily. Hooking up both cable and Roku were simple. We just finished a complete overhaul of our backyard – new covered patio and pavers, and the TV was the final touch. We had friends over to watch the Stanley Cup finals and then the NBA finals the next day, and the picture was great. Everyone around the backyard could clearly see the action and hear the games. My daughters are already setting up movie nights with their friends. I would recommend this TV to anyone trying to create an entertainment area in their backyard.

Love the durability, simplicity, and performance of this TV, easy to connect, works perfectly, looks great outdoors in the brighter light. I was even able to connect my Amazon Fire 4k TV and power it using the TV USB port, so its completely enclosed in the rear cabinet. Sound isnt perfect (to be expected) so add a good sound bar and you are good to go.

Watch this baby almost every night on the back patio. Also have an older 32” sunbrite. This one is lighter than that one, and the picture is outstanding!

Packaging was great in protecting the product during shipment. The TV set up was easy and mounting to the wall was a piece of cake. The only negative is the volume control on the remote was difficult to use. Overall very pleased with the product.

Crystal clear. Only way to go in Houston 100% heat and humidity for outdoor use. Very happy and they expedited shipment to replace in 4 days due to freight damage on first shipment so I could enjoy it over Fathers Day. Also kudos to Dish installers as they installed it outside ASAP.

Bought for outdoor pavilion. Was pleasantly surprised at how great the vibrant color and how crisp the picture is. Used it when shady and also full sun and no glare ! Very pleased ! Also no need for speaker or soundbar for us .. no trouble hearing sound at a normal volume
