SunBriteTV Outdoor TV 55-Inch Veranda (1st Gen) 4K Ultra HDTV LED Black - SB-5574UHD-BL

I purchased the Sunbrite 55 inch veranda television to be used under a tiki in South Florida. The picture is terrific but the sound is not. At 100% volume, you can barely hear this TV from 10 feet away, let alone when you are having a party with any background noise. So... I looked into purchasing a weatherproof soundbar from Sunbrite FOR ($999.00!!!) Turns out, the Sunbrite soundbar WILL NOT WORK unless you add an amplifier to go with it. I called customer service to find out how much THAT would cost and they told me Sunbrite doesnt sell amplifiers! and that I should look elsewhere (they suggested amazon or a marine store OMG). Please think about this before you drop 2k on an outdoor tv that you cant hear outdoors. So disappointed.

Great t.v. initially, however after about 9 months of usage the screen became cloudy then a protective film, which apparently is used by the company, started to flake off. The flaking is most prevalent around the edges, but some in the interior (see attached photos). It looks real bad when turned off. When powered on, it looks as if you are viewing on a very dirty of hazy screen. Heres the response from the warranty department, "This is a Veranda series TV which is meant for full shade. It looks like this TV has seen quite a bit of direct sunlight exposure, which is causing the protective film to melt and peel off. It looks like due to the heat from the direct sunlight the gasketing is exploding near the bottom of the TV as well. Unfortunately this is not covered under warranty as this is a full shade television. We can extend 15% off a new television, but highly recommend you move to a Pro series to avoid this issue in the future. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Bought 2 TV for a menu board. 1 will not turn on at all. The other has a bad display screen with no physical damage. Technical support is saying we should have tested the TVs on arrival and report back within 2 days but the TVs were sent to the signage company installing our menu board. We had no way to check. No exchange or repair.

This tv lasted 18 months and picture gone already - huge disappointment since it is 3 x the price of regular tv
