Excellent smart TV for those who do not want to fool with a roku stick or other such nonsense. Once you set it up, which can take a bit of reading and time to do if you are not as tech savvy as some, its so easy to hook into any and all tv viewing options that are Free. We havent had cable or any paid tv service now for 6 months and are completly satisfied. Good product.

We bought this TV at BB 2 months ago and it is absolutely spectacular! The picture is outstanding but it needs to be dialed in; Backlight 62, Brightness 40, Contrast 50, Sharpness 56. Of course these settings are always a matter of personal preference, but the factory presets are way over the top with the backlight, brightness and contrast. Ok, here are my gripes: The audio is fine however there is no way to adjust the treble or bass, we are stuck with factory presets. The simple Roku remote is fine but the preset buttons should be removed, already one of the buttons is obsolete (Rdio). Roku must understand that a TV is not disposable. Like most people we expect our TV to last at least 10 or more years - I wonder how many more buttons will be obsolete by then? TV integration with Roku is a match made in heaven, its like what Android did for cell phones. Roku has a great opportunity here to be the universal platform for smart tvs but it still needs some work, it somewhat feels like its an add-on device.

we have this tv in our bedroom and it is absolutely wonderful. as a family who has a roku connected to every tv in our home, we clearly love roku and the services it provides. to have it fully integrated within your tv is brilliant! with the rise in popularity of many streaming apps, every smart tv should contain such integration with a user-friendly interface such as roku. that lack of interface is precisely the piece that is missing--particularly for those who are older or less tech savvy--and keeps even more folks from fully realizing the capabilities of their smart tv. i highly recommend this tv for well, everyone, but particularly those folks who want to stream via netflix, hulu, etc. but arent particularly adept at switching between input channels. its really this simple: every time you power on your unit, you get the roku home screen with (after setup) your connected devices (cable/satellite, blu-ray, gaming consoles, etc.) listed as, basically, apps within the roku interface atop your other installed apps. to switch between, say, directv and netflix, simply push home to return to your roku home screen and select what you want to watch--no more having to remember if the blu-ray player is hdmi 2 or hdmi 3 lol. we especially love the tvs usb port, as we store many video files externally. to fire those up, simply install the roku media player app, or your preferred equivalent. my sole critique is that the audio on the tv is quite awful. however, given that many folks opt to use a sound bar or other external sound system anyway, im totally fine with sharps decision to install subpar speakers and keep the units cost lower.

got this at best buy , had to write review . tv is "ok" i mean tv is nice and fine BUT roku that is built into is HORRIBLE. crashes ALOT , even with external hard drive plugged into usb , it just stops and goes back to roku main menu screen , watching roku channel NOW and 50% commercials go to loading screen then just black screen you HAVE to back out re enter roku channel find what was watching and "resume" watching IF you have that option if you have to fast forward to spot you was at AND there is commercials , just forget about watching that channel with this tv . crashes at commercial loadings , crashes usb hard drive connected , it crashes ALOT .AND BTW , there is NO Ethernet plug , this tv is wifi ONLY . even if you do not use the Ethernet option would be nice rite ? OTHERWISE the tv CONSTANTLY looking for signal with the red light bottom left corner CONSTANTLY flashing while it searches for wifi connection . thinking about returning this now . roku built into system does not work very well very unstable at best . maybe for just watching antenna tv or cable tv BUT THEN you got tv constantly flashing looking for wifi connection . there is no way to turn off wifi or stop it from trying to constantly connect as there is no Ethernet in . if wifi did not constantly search for connections or you could disable it would be ok . IF roku built in actually worked better it would be ok , but this tv is really just crap . a nuisance really .i am using roku 3 i have on tv and play hard drive through there no problems . tv wifi i connected then blocked from my router seems to make light stop flashing but it is too much effort to get this to work OK . i will be returning .
