After using this TV for 3 weeks now, we simply love the simplicity. The main screen after boot-up is complete simple. There are a few objects down the left side of the menu with options for each off to the right as you navigate. Nothing else. Simple. It was so easy it was almost difficult trying to get past the thought of needing to do more. We really enjoy the TV! As others wrote, there is little to no bass sound but the speakers are certainly loud enough. Due to not having any bass sound, we purchased a nice Sony Blu ray and sound bar w/ Sub woofer. Now it is a loud thundering system, awesome quality, simplicity and great for a budget tele. If you want the perfect smart TV experience with all the bells and whistles, a single remote control for your entire entertainment system, then this TV is probably not for you. I will add that both Sony remotes (sound bar and blu ray power the tv on/off and volume up/down with no setup required). Ref our Blu Ray hooked up to this TV: Sony BDPS5500 3D Blu-Ray Player with Wi-Fi (2015 Model) Ref our Sound bar hooked up to this TV: Sony HT-CT370 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Bluetooth, and NFC

For the price, it is a great gaming tv for the kids. Sound is meager but sounds fine, recommend connect to a speaker system for best enjoyment. The WIFI is not an issue for us and we have it in the basement. Netflix works, YouTube works... It is a good buy.

It takes about 15 seconds to turn on. This appears to be a computer boot time. Also the volume control is delayed additional time from this start up. I only say this as when I turn it on in the middle of the night, I want to get the volume down fast to not wake anyone. I purchased this because it has wifi, and is used for streaming. Netflix is built in. It too is slow to load. Otherwise it is used with HDMI input from a channel master DVR, and antenna input. It does find the over the air broadcast stations relatively quick.

Bought this TV as a 2nd TV for my husbands birthday.......its been a great TV thus far (a couple of months)....the price was definitely great and the picture is really good for the price. One complaint (which is not just with THIS TV but with all flat panel SMART TVS) the sound is tough for those of us over 60 who have hearing issues.......I am not hard of hearing per se, but the VOLUME vacillates between too loud for HD and then back to REGULAR sound for normal definition--PLUS the AUDIO in general is weak in these types of TV units. All that said, you will most likely need to make another purchase for these types of TVs in order to get a decent volume ---a SOUND BAR. Another expensive purchase from my research so far........other than that this is a great TV.

Had it 10 months and it no longer works. Freezes on opening SEIKI screen when first powered on. If left on for about 15 minutes, it switches over to a green screen with green and blue lines running at a diagonal. For the first 10 months, it worked great, no issues. I bought a 2nd tv of the same model at the same time and it intermittently shuts off while watching tv so I dont expect it to last much longer

Very happy with the features, picture quality, and sound quality. The WiFi, however, not so good. The WiFi keeps disconnecting. I constantly have to keep setting up the Network connection, over and over again. Quite irritating. However, that is not nearly as irritating as the Seiki customer service. Very unhelpful. Phone calls that Im told will be coming to me from supervisors, never come. It seems so obvious that they just want you to "go away". If it wasnt for the WiFi issue, and the non-existent customer service, this unit could easily be rated a 5-star.

We got this TV for a song. The picture is great and it performs well. The onboard apps Such as Netflix and Amazon Video work well. It works great in our bedroom since the it has a sleep timer and the picture can be dimmed. Good refresh rate and color. My only gripe is that to change inputs you have to go through a menu and you cant jump to them directly. It makes switching cumbersome. Luckily we have a Harmony remote that takes care of that for us, most of the time.

Great TV! Worth the extra $10 dollars for built in WIFI for the Netflix, Youtube apps. This 43 inch tv. for under $300 is a no brainer.

Great TV for the price! So happy with it. I did go for the 4 year service plan just in case, but so far so good. Slightly upset that I cant use it to get Amazon, since I am a Prime subscriber. Oh well, I just use my PS3 for Amazon watching.

Have never used this as a TV but as a high resolution computer monitor. So far so good, it works perfectly and it will be almost 3 yrs old now.
