This TV I got to replace a monitor on a media center computer when it went out. I figured the TVs were almost as good of a resolution as the monitors, and graphics quality on a media center isnt THAT important. Price was actually lower than most monitors of this size. I got a surprise, this TV is clear, has great graphics quality and every bit as good as my ViewSonic high end 24" monitor, and it cost about $100 less. I recently bought an element TV from Walmart that cost more and isnt up to the performance of this one (though its close...). All in all I thought I was going to get a low end TV at this price range and was pleasantly surprised...

This TV was just what I needed. I remember when a 24 inch TV was considered large. My first TV was 13 inches.

This TV came well packaged and was delivered on time. The picture is really great! I am using the HDMI from my computer for this TV and I have to say that I am more than pleased. The speakers are a complete disappointment. Since I am using it as a computer monitor I am using computer speakers but if I bought this for a stand alone TV I would be disappointed. I have tried adjusting the sound and nothing I do improves the sound. The speakers on my netbook sound better and that is saying a lot. If you plan to use as a computer monitor I think it is a great purchase but if you plan to use as a stand alone TV then review the connections and plan to add speakers.

We have been looking for a 24 inch tv for a long time at a price we could afford. This TV fit the bill. It was delivered promptly. Our only problem was setting it up with U-Verse. The code listed on U-Verse did not work. We had to call U-Verse, and they told us Spectre uses Sony codes. That did not make sense to me since Sony does not make Spectre. However, it is now working, and we really like it.

We have been watching for two weeks now (actually received one day earlier than expected). After I made some adjustments to the picture (contrast, brightness, etc) and the equalizer (basically matched the settings my son has on his LCD), the picture is excellent on both HD and SD channels, and the sound is relatively good on all but the older shows that were originally broadcast analog. I have purchased a few Sceptre CRT monitors in the past, so am familiar with the brand and have been happy with the performance of the monitors. Hopefully, this LED TV will last as long as those monitors did. Other reviews and the user manual at the manufacturers website have all the information I needed.

Set came quickly, it looks good and picture quality seems great. No dead pixels. I can see why many complain about these type of sets. The speakers do leave much to be desired. My old 13 inch color set from 1996 sounds better with only one speaker.

You can only watch this tv "head on". Speakers really suck. I would return it....but Im too lazy. I put it in the kitchen (small), but have to be right in front to see the picture clearly. I usually consult Consumers Union, but they did not have it listed....I should have waited.
