This is a question reply I sent that I am posting here. Yes it does have VGA and I am using it as I write this. Read complaints of strong electronic smell which was annoyingly true as I have two in a small office. The smell is mostly gone after a couple of weeks. Im am now very pleased with them after a good burn in. It is a good deal on a 1080 32 inch at $145 as a monitor. As a TV is is not smart and has wanky little speakers underneath. BTW I purchased it sold as model X328BV-FSR and received model X325BV-FSR. Scepters website does not have a X328BV-FSR. The model shipped was better than the description so happy about that. Has VGA,3HDMI,3.5 audio in, DTV Coax in, Component in, Audio out (RCA/3.5/optical), does not shut down/sleep auto with computer. For a 1080 monitor thumbs up. I run my compy sound through it to my sound system. Gets a 4 star for the electronic smell plus the wrong model number. If the smell is too strong for you try it and return it but I couldnt find a comparable deal on a 1080 32 anywhere. Update 10/5/2018...a little over a month up and running...the electronic smell is almost completely gone...or Im nose blind...actually a friend was here in my tiny office and smelled it when mentioned but hadnt noticed before. Image quality is still good and Im still happy. Screen goes blue when my computer sleeps.

For $129 dollars at 32 inch true 1080p its a real deal without the smart features. Using it as a monitor with my gsync setup currently and the picture is really nice. You might need to tweak the settings a little to get it nice but the product is really good.

Very happy with picture. Sound is not a priority with us but we were prepared after reading reviews for it to be subpar. Sound is actually awful. But certainly not a deal breaker for the great price.

I bought one of these, liked it enough to buy a second, and a third, as gifts for a friend. I havent tried to use the Smart TV Functions, as I dont really know what they are, I dont have a TV, I use this TV as Computer Monitor.

Using it strictly as my desktop computer monitor. Overall picture is good, but in some cases, when the picture is saturated with lots of small details, the whole picture starts looking a little grainy, unnatural. Not a deal breaker for me, but some graphics designers and professional photographers would need to look for something of a better quality.

It’s a good basic tv at a bargain price. The only thing I don’t like is it has a strong new electronic smell that is overpowering

For its price you cant beat it. Picture is good. Sound sucks, but what do you want for this price. Was surprised it came with a TV tuner, thought Id need to buy a box for it. Super light weight, easy to mount

We have a small kitchen/dining area. Weve tended to use the kitchen/dining area as the main living space and having a TV there works for us. We bought a 55" 4K TV which is in the "den" downstairs but this 32" 1080p has been really ideal. Were a couple now w/ no kids left at home so having the TV at the far end of our dining table so we can eat & catch news, etc is perfect. Were streamers so its an AppleTV proving the content and picture & sound have been fine.

Sceptre is a value brand. They use rejected panels. Purchased as auxiliary set. Okay with single green stuck pixel. Be wary that 3.5mm jack forced internal equalizer with headphones. 60Hz MEMC works well. Better panel lottery odds than other value brands.
