Im not a techie or anything....but this is amazing! It arrived within 3 days, took less than a half hour to hook up and hang on the wall, and the picture and sound quality is EXCELLENT! I didnt expect so much at such a low price....but I was blown away! I also have the Amazon Fire Stick hooked to this, and its a pleasure to watch. It connected with my wi-fi immediately. There is some lag....but that is due to my internet connection, not the tv. We have it in the back bedroom, and now ever Saturday night is movie night with the grandkids on the big screen! LOVE IT! The packaging was perfect. Just looking at it told you it would take a lot of abuse. So happy with this purchase! Definitely recommend it. The sound quality alone is superb.

Sorry I bought this TV! This TV has a great picture, but that is all I can say to the good. It refuses to stream Netflix for more than a few seconds. Google it and you will find a lot of people with the same problem. I was on with Samsung tech for over an hour-finally they told me it was a Netflix streaming problem, until I ran Netflix through my bluray player to their TV and it worked perfectly-its their SMART, (dumb), TV that is the problem. They changed my dns settings-nothing-we changed my country-nothing. It even got where I had to wait about ten seconds after I pressed a remote button for it to react to the command-damn I hate this thing. I am trying to decide if I want to go to the trouble of sending it back. At least I have learned to keep the box. The very helpful Amazon Tech suggested that I unplug the TV and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. He said it might clear static-it worked-once-then never again. Oh well, packed it all back up and started a return to Amazon-not their fault-Samsung has a LOT of TVs doing this-will not purchase Samsung again.

We purchased this tv for an apartment where we would only have internet and wanted to be able to watch Netflix, HULU, etc. Shortly before getting it I took advantage of great deal to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A that came out in June. I loved the tablet and the integration with the tv was seamless. I went through two levels of menu to make the tv visible and pulled down the extended-pull-down menu on the tablet by pulling the top bar down with two fingers. After turning smart view on my tv was recognized in a matter of seconds and I was streaming football the entire weekend in high-def. My wife has also streamed from Apple products, including an iphone and a ipad mini that is from 2013 or 14. Physically setting the tv up was easy. The picture was great and the built in speaker is not bad at all. This is the second Samsung Smart TV we have owned and what I was even more impressed with about this one was just how quickly it would load up the smart apps and how fast it processed the WIFI compared to the first one I purchased. This one is a 2015 model year tv and I think our first may have been a 2013 or 2014. The first is also a couple inches bigger, but every time I turn the barely older one on I have to wait three to five minutes for it to be "prepared" to run HBO GO, Netflix, Hulu, etc., and its wireless connection can take a minute to become solid and stream in good definition. This tv is instant on both fronts just about. It is a very impressive product that I am happy to have in our home.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I love everything about the tv. Set up was so easy and the stand didnt intimidate me, and I was putting it together myself. It doesnt wobble. The picture is really stunning. I have never owned a tv before, and I have to say that investing in Samsung (over Vizio or other smaller brands), the larger size, and 1080p were definitely worth it. I can see the quality in the image. Easy streaming and no lag. The sound is great, too. The only thing, that others have complained about too, is that the tv needs a few minutes (5 at the most) to warm up and connect to your wireless network.

I shopped around a LOT before ordering this. It arrived very well packaged and worked perfectly right out of the box. A lot of people are complaining about it being "slow" but its a television, not a computer. It has to load everything through whatever bandwidth you have and its 100% video content which is the largest thing you can possibly be trying to download and upload. It works just fine. When my bandwidth is sufficient theres no lag or choppiness; when I have low bandwidth it stops a lot. This is because of the bandwidth, not the television. The television is awesome. Everyone should order this immediately.

We love the Samsung brand for our electronics, & this TV is no exception. This is really a great TV. The picture is excellent, clear & crisp, & the size is just right. The output ports are angled down, so your satellite, bluray, etc. connections plug in upward & hang down instead of sticking straight out from the back of the TV, which makes it much easier to mount. I have but 2 very minor complaints, which are the reasons I rated 4 stars instead of 5, & one is about the remote & not the TV itself. The remote control seems rather cheap for the Samsung brand. I ordered a smaller Vizio for another room & the remote was very light and slender with thinner buttons that were easy to push. This remote is bulkier with thick rubber buttons that have to be pushed on a little harder. I read other reviews that complained about how long the TV takes to "warm up" to be able to operate the apps. I initially blew this off, but it is slightly annoying. Once you turn the TV on, you have to wait a good couple of minutes to be able to access Netflix & other streaming apps. Like I said, very minor complaints. Overall, its a great TV!

For the price this size is hard to beat since it is a Samsung. It is super light and I was easily able to mount it by myself. The picture is really good but of course the internal speaker is terrible. A soundbar solves that problem. One major issue I have with the Smart TV software is Netflix with the sound bar. The Netflix app attempts to send a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal to the sound bar which it has no idea what to do with so you get no sound. I took me awhile to figure this out buy you have to go into the sound settings in the TV menu to change the signal to PCM when the Netflix app is on. This seems to be a separate setting than setting the sound while the TV is playing which I already had set to PCM.

As with many other users, I have been experiencing a slow TV. My allegiance to this brand stemmed from our recent purchase of a larger, albeit more expensive, model for our family room. The larger model works very well and has a very reasonable response time when powering on (~5 seconds to launch an app), but this smaller model seems VERY slow to process anything within the first 1-2 minutes of power up. Our intention when purchasing this TV was to place it in our childrens playroom and use its SmartHub feature to connect to our favorite shows via Netflix, Hulu, etc. We do NOT have it hooked up to cable, satellite, or antenna. Its sole purpose is to connect to Wi-Fi! When starting the TV, the common static appears along with the channel. Once you attempt to select an app through the SmartHub, it states "Preparing TV. Please try again later". This message continues to occur regardless of the app selected for a time that is very unreasonable (over 1 minute). You have to sit there, staring at static... Because of our situation (no cable), I would consider this a poor purchase for anyone who wished to use it as we intended.

great TV for the price. no complaints except the smart tv aps take 2-3 minutes to load up when you first turn the TV on. its kind of like waiting for a computer to boot-up. you cannot use any of the TV apps for 3 mins and must wait for the TV to finish loading. weird cause my 75" samsung doesnt do this. seems like its only an issue with the smaller sized screens.

Was issues with the remote vs the TV from day one. Took forever for the tv to warm up and be ready for streaming. Good picture, but the aggravation of having to wait 5 - 7 minutes for the thing to warm up and be ready for streaming a movie was rediculous. TV would turn itself off while streaming a movie and you would have to wait another 5 - 7 minutes for it to reload. Finally (after very little use in 2 years of ownership), the tv would cut out with more and more frequency. finally tossed it off the 2nd level porch into the driveway and into the waste bin. Plus keep in mind the TV has a view port that watches anything you are doing within the vicinity. Big Brother is Here!
