I have had this TV for four days and am very pleased with the purchase. I wanted a small TV for use in the kitchen and researched several models. This is one of the few Smart TVs in this size and the price was less than other quality brands, even those without the Smart TV function. Initial observations as follows. 1. I am not an expert TV reviewer, but I am amazed at the quality of the picture. 2. Setup was simple. I easily followed the onscreen instructions and the TV had already detected my wireless network. All I needed to do was enter my password. I also easily connected to my Netflix and Amazon Prime Video accounts. 3. The base is a single pedestal (see photo) and not the two individual supports as shown on the website. It is attached to the TV by three screws that come in a small plastic package that is enclosed in the plastic package that contains the manual. They are easy to miss since the packaging is the same color and texture. People with limited mechanical ability will have difficulty installing these screws because they are in the bottom of a recessed pocket (see photo), Tools guys will simply be annoyed and will use their magnetic tipped #2 Phillips screwdriver to facilitate installation. 4. I elected to purchase an HDMI cable with a right angle 270 degree elbow. This makes for a neater installation (see photo). A standard cable will extend to the side and be visible from the front of the TV. The elbow (if used) for all HDMI connections must be 270 degrees (NOT 90 degrees!). Update 11/29/17: I have been using this TV for over three months and it is still working perfectly. It has automatically updated the software at least twice and continues to work for Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts.

Very pleased with this television! It took five minutes to get out of the box set up and get going added the Amazon fire TV stick and I was watching TV in 10 minutes beautiful resolution excellent sound great value for the price very very happy with my purchase.

Its finally nice to have some TV out in the garage with the elliptical for exercise. This works OK. However, every 2-3 days I come out and find that it is not able to connect to the WiFi. And its not because of poor signal strength. It would drop out all the time before where my laptop or cell phone would not. So, I bought a WiFi repeater/extender and put it 5 feet away. That solved the almost constant drop-out, but now it just disconnects and wont reconnect every 2-3 days. I find that I have to go to the network setup page and re-enter the network password for it to reconnect. VERY ANNOYING!!!!! The other major issue I have is with the significant motion blur. For exercising and having something in front of me, this is OK, but I could never watch normal programs, TV or movies with this blur. Getting a 1 start because I would not buy this again if I knew about all these problems. I would have given this a 3-star review, but I dont think anyone reads the 2, 3, 4 start reviews and generally only look at 1 or 5 star reviews.

This is just not a television for the "elderly." At 71, I am classified as elderly. It assembled routinely, and powered right up. It took two long customer service calls(1 hour + each) to get it to work as I hoped. I have no hardwired program delivery. The "Wi-Fi" was, therefore critical since all programming I can get is streamed over my Wi-Fi. Perhaps the most frustrating problem for me was that identifying program choices or even providers, like hulu and even Prime was hit or miss and required using a pointer to select a "key" on the QWERTY keyboard. Thus, each typing stroke required two stages of selection. And, the source had to be selected every time the TV was turned on and a program is sought. What finally broke me with this TV was that it self-deleted Amazon Prime as a selectable source !!!! EDIT- I want to praise the two customer service reps that gave me their two hours of help. They were excellent and friendly and I never sensed frustration on their end. Alas, they could not change the product characteristics, but my interaction with them was very pleasant and we even shared some moments of laughter together. The CS could not have been better. Because of my history with Amazon and those two CS reps, I WILL find my replacement TV here !! The positives are the easy assembly and a very high quality picture. If it had the voice selection program choice I would have been very happy with it. By the way, my wireless service is Century Link at 60/5 MBps and this TV reliably produced that quality picture at that moderate speed. Buffering events were very rare. What bothers me the most now, is a complete lack of knowledge on selecting the replacement that stays in my affordable price range.. Amazon was great on return and refund !!

This TV always gave me problems with my wifi and would always randomly disconnect. Its such a pain and so many other users have this issue so the fact that it still is a problem is alarming. Save your money and buy a different TV. This one is just horrible. One day my TV just decided to stop connecting to my wifi, despite all my other devices being connected to it. When I called Samsung they pretty much had no idea how to fix it so I ended up returning the TV back to Amazon. Waste of time and money.

I cant find speakers to hook up to this, being as I got a smart TV you would think you could hook up to a wireless soundbar, but no such luck, no speaker port found on the back of the TV, I am so frustrated at this point I am going to return the TV, because I cant hear it turned completely up I cant hear anything with a AC or fan running ;(. so sad.

Seldom write reviews. No headphone jack. Sound is low and not clear, its like a toy! You will have to buy a soundbar or a receiver and external speakers. Will at least double the cost of the TV. I have other Samsung products larger TVs Etc and theyre fine. If they spend a few bucks on inputs and decent speakers this would be an excellent TV. As it stands I would never buy it had I known!

The TV itself is fine. Four months after we bought it the HDMI circuitry failed. Samsung warranty service is the worst Ive ever seen. The Samsung customer service number gave us a TV shop for service, but when we contacted them we found that we had to ship the TV from Florida to New Jersey to the service provider. After another call to Samsung, we were told there were three locations in Florida. Why couldnt they have told us that initially? We contacted the closest one and we were told that we needed a "service ticket number" from Samsung. It took another call to Samsung to get things straightened out. Why wouldnt Samsung have a checklist ready and tell the customer you need "these three things" and help us find the closest provider. In the end, we went to Royal Electronics in Port Orange, Florida. They were extraordinarily helpful and provided superb customer service. I dont know whether Id buy another Samsung product. One would hope it was an individual with poor performance at Samsung, and not Samsung policy to treat customers so poorly.

I was actually surprised at the image quality on a <200 dollar TV. I wish I had bought a bigger size though. 28-inches seems a bit small at 15 feet away (but maybe just because Im used to my larger TV in the living room). The wifi connected good, has good strengths to stream Netflix, and was quick and easy to set up. You will need a Philips head screwdriver to screw the plastic base pedestal into the TV, but that is it.
