I am changing my review. We cant get this TV to sync with the Spectrum/Charter cable box. It requires 2 remotes. We called Pyle customer service and he suggested trying code 1111111 or 0000000. No help there. Spectrum/Charter doesnt have any codes for Pyle. I would send it back except we threw out the boxes. VERY UNSATISFACTORY! Update, reply from another tech support person. "The remote will not really sync with your Spectrum Cable. Remote will just work for the PTVLED18." Technical Adviser Sound Around USA This is outrageous. I recommend not purchasing this TV or any other product from this company

The sound is HORRIBLE on this Pyle. It sounds like its coming out of a tiny, tin can, placed inside a plastic box, under a wet blanket. It actually causes headaches it is so bad! It is unbelievable that this seems good to anyone. ALSO - this unknown brand has no code number to program on you own (cable system) remote control, so youre stuck with having to use 2 remotes all the time. Just a PYLE of crap.

Do not buy this TV. I purchased it the end of August 2018. The sound quality was poor from day one. Then on 1/8/19 the screen went dark and would not turn on. I spoke with PYLE about warranty service. To get service I would have to return the TV to them at my cost. They would evaluate and then ship it back to me for a charge of $15 shipping plus repairs if they determined the fault was not under warranty. They could not give me any estimate of how long it would take to return the TV to me. I decided that it would be more efficient (and a safer bet) to buy a new name brand TV and dispatch the Pyle TV to the county recycling center. Also, previously learned that I could not program any other remote to work with their TV. So we had to keep their remote to turn the set on/off and then use the cable remote for channel control.
