This TV is perfect. It is just the right size for my apartment bedroom. Setup was almost too easy. Scanning for channels took the longest amount of time but thats to be expected. The picture quality is excellent. Very good TV at an excellent price.

I have never bought an easier, user friendly TV to set up and start using! I picked it up, removed from the box it was set up and working in 10 minutes...WiFi and Neflx...easy! 720 DPI looks great, wanted at least 1080 but on the 24 inch screen the picture is fab, straight on, sideways or up angle! Wish all the others were so easy! I am not an audiophile but to me the sound is great volume, clear and even from the kitchen location it is great to hear 2 rooms away. At 72 I am not the most tech savvy but this was so QUICK AND EASY!

23.5 in diagonal screen. 2 HDMI ports, 1 USB port. No VGA port and NO audio-out port (there is no 3.5mm headphone jack) except for a "Digital Audio Out" but, it doesnt come with the special Digital Audio Out cable which is dumb. Volume/sound is reasonable quality but lacks power. If you have a load air conditioner, fan, etc. it will interfere with the sound. I also bought a Digital Audio to Analog audio converter in case I want to use one of my many Bluetooth adapters and earphones. RCA ports are INPUT only. Power cord is only about 5ft.. Has a wired-Ethernet port and wireless ability. This TV has a built in tuner so you can scan for both antenna-over-air signals as well as cable (it has a standard coax input for cable/antenna). Although, it has several built-in network tools (Netflix app, Hulu, etc.) you will need to download the free app (using the LG Store-App utility) to get Pandora and/or XM. LG App store has tons of mostly useless apps, games and this TV does NOT have a web browser. Wireless/Network connectivity was easy and typical (searches and finds available networks and lets you type in your networks security/WPS info via the onscreen keyboard app and remote control. Great back-up TV for a bedroom, RV and/or workshop

I needed a small television for my bedroom during a recent convalescence following surgery, but I didnt want to spend a lot of money on something I was really only going to need for a short time. Chose this unit based largely on cost, and was very pleased with the results. I definitely would recommended this television. Pros include a very good picture (I thought I needed 1080p, but with the small screen, 720p is plenty of resolution), easy and intuitive setup, and a wide range of included apps (including Amazon Prime and Netflix, the two streaming services I use most frequently). As for cons, the only one of any import I noticed was related to the sound. Although the volume went up high enough to hear across a room, the quality of the sound suffers at louder volumes, with a loss of clarity. A good sound bar or other secondary option would be necessary in a large space, or in an environment where there is a lot of background noise.

Picture quality is ok, but audio setup is problematic, because there is no headphone port and no standard audio output port —- which means that you can’t use either headphones or speakers with this TV. Why? Because the audio output is “Toslink” — a digital optical cable technology created by Toshiba in the 80’s but never improved since — which means that it can’t handle BluRay audio, (as well, it’s inferior in range to HDMI). How do you fix this? If you want to use headphones or speakers, you can Jerry rig a solution. First you must purchase 1. A toslink cable; 2. A digital to analog converter box; 3. A Y connector with two male RCA plugs (to the converter) and one female port — But there’s another hitch: If you want to use headphones, this female port must be a “3.5 mm” port; but if you want to use speakers, the female port must be an “RCA” port. Which means that if you want to use both speakers and headphones you must buy four additional widgets, which adds more than $30 to the cost of the TV, and (if you want to switch between headphones and spakers) physically unplug and switch Y connectors from RCA to 3.5mm. And with every connection in the chain, sound quality degrades further. For all of these reasons, Toslink is a technology that is being phased out by many manufacturers.

I love this TV! I didnt want to pay for a cable box (this is a 2nd tv and had box taken away due to cost of rental) - it took me awhile to get the tv going right - but after studying and fooling around with the remote control I found all I was looking for. I have an inexpensive antenna which I attched to the torch lamp I have net to the tv (it was tiling and when I raised it high - it was perfect.) I got it hooked up to my wifi and get many channels - would like a few more but will look for another box for that. It works better than my larger TV and is much newer! Perfect HD - Amazon is one of the Apps on it - so you dont need your firestick. If you have subscriptions to any of the streaming channels its perfect. Has YouTube, Hulu, Netflix and many more. It took me awhile to find THE SMART in the smart TV (I hate instructions) but the home button brings you right there. I recommend smart TV with flying colors. Love it! Day 2! :D

Nice TV that functions well except for a MAJOR flaw. The image quality is good right out of the box. I used a wall mount VideoSecu ML12B TV LCD Monitor Wall Mount Full Motion 15-Inch Extension Arm Articulating Tilt Swivel for Most 15 to 27-Inch LED TV Flat Panel Screen with VESA 100x100,75x75 1KX (Black) . It works well. The screws that came with the wall mount are too long so youll have to use the screws that came with the TV, itself. This LG was supposed to be SMART TV and has several pre-installed apps. I read online that LG SMART TVs come with SLING as one of the apps, but this one did not. I didnt think that was a problem since I also read online that it is easy to search and download apps that are not pre-installed; however, this particular model apparently has NO search function and NO way to upgrade apps or download new apps. I am still trying to contact support to confirm that, but I see no way to do upgrade or download. That is a HUGE flaw. In fact, unless it CAN update and download, I do NOT consider it a SMART TV. I was planning to use this TV a lot with my Sling subscription. Now the only way to do that is to buy and add a device to the HDMI input - which would be half as much as the TV itself. Yes, that huge FLAW drops it three stars and puts it on my "cannot recommend" list. I have two other SMART TVs in the house and have NEVER heard of one that comes with no way to update or download apps. But aside from that major flaw, the picture quality and functioning are good.

First the good: This unit has a great picture and can be viewed from about any angle. It warms up fast and the channel search is very quick. It picks up more channels that the one it replaced with the same antenna. The "smart" features work well with some noted exceptions. The other side of the coin includes that major fact that it will not work with an iPhone as the video source. It supports Android only... a huge negative. It has no analog (RCA/3.5mm jack) audio output... only digital so your headphones wont plug in nor can you cable it to a lot of amps. Ive tried two digital to analog converters with it and was not able to get either one to produce analog sound. The menu has a large array of features but totally lacks an intuitive UI to sort through these features. It is very confusing to try to make many of the standard adjustments needed to optimize the TV. If it werent for the fact that this is the only "smart" TV that I could find in this size, I would have returned it.

The item description indicates there are USB ports. Likewise in the description there is a Bluetooth logo next to the Miracast and WiDI logos indicating you can link Bluetooth capable externals to the TV. Spoiler alert: It is not Bluetooth capable. Nor does it have a USB port or 3.5mm jack to add a Bluetooth transmitter.
