I bought this TV at Best Buy but since its a Amazon/Best Buy collaboration I guess its fine to write the review here. Getting the TV out of the box is a PITA. They want you to grab it by the plastic bag the TV is wrapped in but when you do its almost glued to the box and requires you to summon Macho Man to assist you in getting it out. The little legs that come in the box arent labeled so itll take a little guessing to find the one that works for each side. Youll need a phillips head screw driver to install the legs. The packaging is a little misleading. Its an LCD TV with an LED backlight. Signing into all your accounts sucks because the remote isnt touch sensitive even though it REALLY looks like it is. Every time you turn the TV on, you get the home screen. It doesnt remember if you were using an Input or not. I really wish I could disable some of the rows Im now interested in using. When watching with an antennae it gives you the option to start over, although Ive never tried doing it to see what it actually does. Even has a guide for what antennae shows are on next which is nice. Overall for 329 its not a bad TV. Im even considering buying another for another room in my home.

This seems like a very good deal, especially when I purchased it on on sale for 190. I had a 32 inch Samsung on the wall that decided to go out after 3 years service. I am thinking 3-5 years is about all a TV last these days. So I hit Amazon and seen this Bestbuy/AmazonFire tv and in a few days it was here. The only negative I had wasnt much and at this price point not worthy of a star deduction. The screws for the wall mount are not very wide and the holes on my older wall mount rails needed washer to go with these screws or they would have passed right thru the rails. I just took the washers from my previous tv, you "may" need washers if you plan on wall mounting yours as well. I connected my Spectrum cable box to the HDMI, also added a digital antenna connection (quick channel scan found the stations in my area). I was going to use the Ethernet port but could not locate my cable, so decided to see how well the wifi would do. At this point I turned on the TV with the remote and was presented with a nice little video about the TV. I had the option of installing a FULL system or Basic system of APPs available. Seeing I just wanted Prime Videos and I already had a cable box hooked up, I chose the Basic system. The TV found the WiFi options available and I connected my 5g right to it. A quick update to the operating system downloaded and I was presented with a pretty nice home screen. Tried the Alexa button and got my weather for my local area easily. The Spectrum remote found the matching remote ID easily, which gives me options for volume and power when using the Spectrum remote. Back to the small remote that comes with the tv, it has everything you really need other than a way to change cable box channels. I went to Amazon Prime Video app and quickly added my account info and watched movies with no problem and without buffering or loss of quality on the wifi connection. For the heck of it I installed the youtube app and browsed the Internet with firefox and Silk Browser. Everything worked fine. I have yet to do anything to the default setup for the picture quality because it looks just fine, actually better than the older Samsung. Speaker Volume is even better than the older Samsung. This is going to come down to how long the TV last.(which I grabbed a cheap extension warranty) If it keeps going for around 4-5 years, this will be the bestbuy I could have received for my money. Are there better TVs out there? I am sure there are, but I doubt at this price point. Setup could not be easier. Quite impressed and happy during the Honeymoon.. I will update in the future if any issues pop up or when/if it goes out.

Beyond disappointing. Purchased this TV solely to have linked to my echo for the hands free voice control. It works for about 30 minutes, and then will proceed to tell me it "doesnt support that". Ive run the gamut of factory reset, un plug, un link etc. Nothing works and Amazon customer service has no fix for me. I feel like I wasted my money, so to you I say save your money and buy a better quality smart TV for the same price. I will change this review if they ever fix this and decide to help me

The TV itself seems OK, however, the menus are awful. I use cable most of the time, so it would be nice to get down to just the cable company remote and not have to use two different remotes to turn on the tv every time. That is not possible with this TV. Even with the TV set to go to the last used input, each time I turn it on, I get the main home menu. So, I need to use the TV remote to select the cable input and then the cable remote to tune to the channel I want. I suggest purchasing a true name brand and staying away from Best Buy / Insignia. Mine is going back.

We love this TV ... We bought the 24 inch TV and linked to to an Alexa device for the Kitchen as it fits under the cabinet. I linked it to our Echo Alexa device and it works great! For kitchen use, 720p is perfectly adequate, and it looks fantastic. I am thinking about getting a keyboard and mouse for it in order to make it easier to find recipes,

Super easy to put together and set up - took less than 15 minutes from box to binge watching Netflix on a rainy day! Flawless navigation from Cable TV to Fire. Picture and sound are great!

Perfect size for my kitchen wall and with a swing arm I can turn it and watch cooking shows from the kitchen island. Very happy with the TV and set up.

This is my first smart TV, and Im pretty happy with it after the first couple days. Netflix, Prime, some free live tv options. Very happy that I can stream Audible and Amazon music through it. I dont subscribe to many other services, so Im not using a lot of the tvs features. Theres a ton on here for people who want it. Very easy set-up. The hardest part was finding a long enough Phillips screwdriver to put the feet on. After that, connect to the router, put in the Amazon and Netflix passwords, and youre good to go. Very fast. No lag loading programs the way I sometimes had with Amazon Video on the Wii. The navigation is more cluttered than Id prefer but not too bad. Mildly annoying that the home screen navigation shows me lots of services and content that I do not want to see. Wish I could customize it to hide the stuff that Im not gonna buy. But I expected Amazon to advertise their content and channels and whatnot. And the remote has shortcut buttons for Prime, Netflix, HBO, etc. I do wish the software had better search features. I dont find a box to type in search terms but must use the Alexa remote. And Alexa doesnt know what PBS is? Doesnt know what BBC is? So I cant browse big categories like PBS the way I do online but have to give a specific search phrase. "Civil rights documentary" came up with a ton of results, so the voice remote works well if Im specific enough. Sound quality seems to have too much treble in it and is not loud enough, even in a small room. For example, I can hear my audiobooks better on my Kindle Fire than I hear them on this TV. I have to turn the TV up a bit. But I am 50 now and my hearing is fading. Ill try to catch a younger person and make them listen to it, to find out if its the tv or my ears. It does come with an audio jack, so I may add some inexpensive speakers. Needs more bass in the mix for us old guys? Overall, for $120, this is a very nice, smaller tv with all the apps and features I was looking for.
