First let me state this is a "Certified Refurbished" unit. The unit arrived properly packaged in a timely manner and looked new. Some problems... 1-Very low sound volume, particularly when using headphones, BTW the headphone jack is located on the back of the unit rather than the front where it SHOULD be., very inconvenient. 2-The stand is a joke, when mounted normally, it tips the screen DOWN, so I guess if you lie on the floor and have the unit on the coffee table it would be ok, this is particularly bad as the viewing angle is very narrow vertically (the horizontal a "little" better). 3-More importantly there is a couple of BAD pixels(Locked on green) in the upper right side of the display. I contacted customer service and they said they considered this normal on this unit and if it really bothered me, if I wanted I could return it to Amazon. It is really too bad as the unit otherwise works great, nice remote, every input you could want.

Im kind of pissed that all I want to do is use this tv for my ps4 and it wont allow me to access the HDMI screen without being auto scanned for channels...why do i need to scan channels to access the HDMI screen? To add insult no one is responding from Element via email or the phone number provided with the TV.

I honestly didnt realize these were refurbished when I bought them, and the packaging looks like brand new items as well. I think the only thing wrong in the description is where it states it isnt shipped with AA batteries for the remotes. I ordered 2 of these to use as computer monitors and both of the remotes have charged batteries in them. Setup was super easy and the quality is pretty good. I wasnt looking for 4k quality, but even used for computers, the fine print is easy to see. I love that these tvs go off when the computer shuts down (goes off after so many minutes of no activity, I forget how long). However, they come back on as soon as I hit the power button on the tv. Same thing when the screen times out on the computer (no screen saver, just blank) and then you bring it back up by moving the mouse. For small flat screen tvs, the sound is actually better than some larger tvs I own. I usually use USB speakers, but these produce a nice crisp sound with enough middle and low tones to even it all out. Of course, youre not going to get a ton of bass, but you will get a rather full sound overall. Ill be buying more of these in the near future.

Was looking for a Indy TV to park by the sink in our master bath...I expected to invest about $150 but I saw this TV listed as an Amazon’s Favorite. Even though it was about half that price, this is as good a tiny TV as anyone could ever have wanted. Based on others’ teviews, I was initially wary that the stand supplied with the TV might be problematic to attach and/or depend on, but it went together like it was no problem at all to attach and it appears to provide a nice, solid base for the TV. Another complaint by some of the reviewers is the tiny sound - again, I haven’t noticed a problem with that, although our master bath is relatively compact. IMHO, this TV is an insane value and if I needed another tiny TV I’d have no qualms about buying another one. FYI: potential side-benefit: I recall reading in the owner’s manual that this TV is capable of being used as a computer monitor as well as a standard TV because it has inputs for all those kinds of cables, cords, etc.

Tuner is sensitive and image quality is good (given that its 720p, which is typical at this display panel size). The two things to be aware of are 1) that the speakers fire downward toward the base, so stereo definition is nonexistent and if you put this on a surface that absorbs sound (like a fluffy tablecloth) it wont be very loud, and 2) that the horizontal view angle is great but the image contrast quickly goes to heck with vertical angle -- if you put this at typical kitchen countertop height and stand a foot in front of it you wont like what you see (unless youre five feet tall or less), but if you step back a couple more feet its fine.

I bought this TV for my kitchen and it does not disappoint. Great crisp picture and sound is ok. Just watching morning or evening news so not looking for concert sound. Please be aware however that as a reconditioned unit I did not receive a manual of any kind. You must be comfortable with winging the set-up although its pretty easy. Also, NO HDMI or Digital Optical cables are included. Just make sure you buy them separately. The base needs to be screwed to the TV which would seem simple. IF IT CAME WITH CORRECT SCREWS. Lol. The four they gave me were not even close to the correct size. Fished around in my tool box and came up with four that work great. For $68, its a great buy and Im happy with it. Just take note of the issues above.

What an amazing little tv! Works great in the kitchen to replace an OLD tv! Picture is crystal clear, the sound is a little tinny despite me changing things in settings, but its not bad. Volume I increased in settings and its absolutely perfect! For anyone a little discouraged about buying refurbished... Dont be! There isnt a scratch or dent anywhere. Id definitely buy again should I need another tv

Ive had this tv for a year maybe longer, its for my kids room i didnt add the base just instantly mounted it and added fire stick. i LOVE it. It works great sound is kinda quiet on some movies but my kids dont care. Mounted easy i would recommend just because price and quality in actually about to buy another! Also it being small im sure if you needed to return it wouldnt be a problem

Tv is working ok so far, but the screen on this TV is VERY annoying, its one of those where it changes depending on the angle youre viewing it. Seems like its gives the best picture if you view it from way below which you probably never will be, and it looks a little blurry or whatever the term is when viewing it at eye level or from above Also there is no backlight setting, had to turn brightness and contrast all the way to zero which helped some but still would like to make it less bright. Only reason giving it 2 stars was because its refurbished and actually works decently. Otherwise would be 1 star. EDIT: Returned this and found a brand new Insignia for the same price on another website. The Insignia is 100x better.

The TV works well. I had it shipped to my aunt who lives in a small rural city, and it was delivered timely. Easy to assemble. She had the TV with the rabbit ears, so she absolutely loves it! All the channels come in perfectly.
