Element ELEFW195R 19in 720p HDTV (Renewed)

First let me state this is a "Certified Refurbished" unit. The unit arrived properly packaged in a timely manner and looked new. Some problems... 1-Very low sound volume, particularly when using headphones, BTW the headphone jack is located on the back of the unit rather than the front where it SHOULD be., very inconvenient. 2-The stand is a joke, when mounted normally, it tips the screen DOWN, so I guess if you lie on the floor and have the unit on the coffee table it would be ok, this is particularly bad as the viewing angle is very narrow vertically (the horizontal a "little" better). 3-More importantly there is a couple of BAD pixels(Locked on green) in the upper right side of the display. I contacted customer service and they said they considered this normal on this unit and if it really bothered me, if I wanted I could return it to Amazon. It is really too bad as the unit otherwise works great, nice remote, every input you could want.

Tv is working ok so far, but the screen on this TV is VERY annoying, its one of those where it changes depending on the angle youre viewing it. Seems like its gives the best picture if you view it from way below which you probably never will be, and it looks a little blurry or whatever the term is when viewing it at eye level or from above Also there is no backlight setting, had to turn brightness and contrast all the way to zero which helped some but still would like to make it less bright. Only reason giving it 2 stars was because its refurbished and actually works decently. Otherwise would be 1 star. EDIT: Returned this and found a brand new Insignia for the same price on another website. The Insignia is 100x better.
