Well, not so sure about all those great reviews. Here are my issues with this product: 1) As with many of these cases, you needed to pull out the extra foam to custom fit the case to the projector. Thats fine. However with this case, the pieces of foam ate generally loose, so over time as you use the case and remove/replace the projector, those surrounding pieces get loose, crushed, and fall out. Eventually the projector gets loose. 2) There is enough room for an HDMI cord, power cord, and USB cord. If you dont need the the HDMI or USB cord, then you can fit the remote as well. But if you need those cords, the remote has to be stored in a separate place. 3) The latches are thin and flimsy. The case is a little challenging to close when full, and when you press down and try to latch it, the whole latch comes off. It is only secured by pressing the latch onto a hinge.

i purchased this for me Epson EX9200 Pro Wireless projector and it fits perfect. I obviously had to pull some of the unneeded foam inserts out for the projector itself, the power cable, and the remote.

This case is tough and functional. The squares can be removed easily enough, and my only compliant would be that the rigidity is lacking - i.e. sometimes it wont close without aligning the sides, simply due to pressure being exerted against the foam which in turn pushes the plastic sides out. While I could remove more foam, the instructions tell you to ensure you have a snug fit for your items and Im worried removing another row of foam might not offer enough protection. All this said, its a very minor complain to a very tough and protective case for my projector.

Just received this Hard Case for out Epson 2045 and had to do some serious customization to it. I found that it wouldnt fit perfectly until you cut and removed the foam on the bottom of the case. There are three pieces of foam the bottom is approx 1in thick then the middle is about 3 to 4inches the one on the top of the case with all the dimples is glued to the top of the case. So, what I ended up doing is cutting out the bottom part of the first layer to match the middle layer so the top layer didnt put to much pressure on the top of the projector and mess up the controls. I also trimmed the dimples on the top layer to give the back of the projector more room and so they again wouldnt mess up the controls. So in summary this case WORKS, I wish it was about 1 1/2 to 2inches deeper, removing foam (protection) from the bottom of the case isnt idle but with the soft feet on the projector I hope will help protect it. I dont plan on throwing the case off a building or at a wall so Im sure it will work. Im keeping the foam Ive removed to see if I can use it to help protect the bottom of the projector a little more. If you buy this case then expect to customize it, take your time and just dont hack away at it. Jason

Bought this for an Epson EX9200 like the title says. It fits the projector perfectly. However, thats all that you will be fitting in there. The picture must be for a different model, because once i got the projector in the case, I couldnt fit the remote or even the power cable in the box. Theres only about 1/2" to spare on all 4 sides. Other than that, it is a great case.

Nice sturdy box. Really like it BUT there is no room for cables! We have to have an extra bag for the electric AND HDMI cable. We have a standard sized projector (Epson VS240 SVGA 3LCD Projector) and its very annoying that we have to keep track of a separate bag. would hate to have the case and the cable bag to get separated.

I have two projectors, the one I bought this for is actually too thick for this case, so I had to use this for my older projector, was hoping for more room for cables, remote etc. If it was bigger, then it would be heavier and bigger to carry around, so it works great for what its for. no problems making the molds for the stuff going in, just pulled apart.

After my first heavy use at a conference with many speakers, and re-sets, I need to find a way to have the precut sections be not so teary. But it seems pretty good overall, especially for the price. I have not contactd the comapny yet, so I cant fault them without checking in with them The plastic seems a bit thin, but it held up well under moderatly stressful conditions. Bottom lione - It kep my projector safe and secure

It took a little bit to figure out a design that would hold everything in place but when I did, like a glove! Love this case and would highly recommend it to anyone with a projector. The problem is that it has all these removable rectangular Styrofoam and if you pull them to fast they rip. Take your time, plan the design first and make it nice and snug. You can always take more out if you need to, but it wont sit right if you try to add, they are all connected to make it a tight fit.

If your expecting it to look like the pictures and have the cut outs for the projectors in the title like I was your going to be fooled like I was too.. it’s just a case of foam and you get to break out the foam to hold whatever you want.. so this ain’t a case for a projector, it’s just a generic case they sell at Fry’s for much cheaper.. but your paying for the imaginary cut outs that make you think it’s a specialty case..
