Does not have an apogee adjustment as wide as the Epson. So dont think you can install this projector and adjust the apogee so the picture will project on the screen 6ft below the projector. you will have to lower the projector to the hight of the screen or move the projector further from the screen. this will re duse the

Have had about 10 Projectors over the years, they just keep getting better and better. For what the price is you cannot go wrong.Picture is amazing.

Purchased this after trying an ultra short throw projector (which was horrible). I primarily use this to play Xbox One games, both single and multiplayer. BF4/BF1 look great and I am still maintaining a consistent KDR in 1v1 situations (point being that I dont perceive I am hindered by playing on a 100" screen versus how I used to play on a TV with an expected higher refresh rate). The projector was packed very well and easy to set up. I purchased one of the low-mid level 100" screens here on Amazon that had good reviews and the same for the ceiling mount. I have absolutely no regrets about transitioning to gaming on this thing. My game room is not light controlled, I have 2 windows facing south. They have blinds but during the day there is a lot of ambient light coming through them and the doorway (with no door). On darker games like Elite Dangerous, the stars and nebulae are a bit washed out, but playing a Battlefield game, Minecraft, Skyrim, pinball, Borderlands, Rocket League, etc, I have no issues (point being this projector can handle a lot of ambient light in the room, even on economy setting). There is a very minor amount of noise from the projector. When I switched to economy mode I really cant tell its running anymore and the projector sits about 5 ft above my head. Ive been playing games since Xmas of 82 and very much recommend this projector for games. Movies look awesome too btw. I dont have this hooked up to cable or OTA TV, not my cup of tea as they say.

Great picture quality and refresh rate for dark to semi-lit rooms! I found a review of this projector on thewirecutter.com. I recommend visiting this site if you are setting up your own theater room.

Lacks the component input of its predecessor but we hardly ever use a third input these days so 2 HDMI connections is sufficient for TiVo and Apple TV. Video quality is excellent.

Im not a huge Sony fan, but I have to say I am impressed with this unit for the price. My only complaint is it is a longer throw then my last projector. It doesnt fill in my 135 in screen. Oh well, I will have to try and move it back some. Im no videophile, but I am happy with the unit so far.
