So far, so good. This projector has been great thus far for our outdoor movie nights. I was a little miffed at first that I couldn’t connect my external speakers to this expensive projector. However, with a little research and a lot of scanning the inter webs, I found a nifty gadget that helped me achieve my goal. The gadget was an HDMI to HDMI plus optical/audio converter. That is a necessity if you desire to use external speakers with this projector. All in all, it’s been great thus far!

You’ll have a tough time finding a better projector in this price range. Impressive brightness. We didn’t have drapes in the room at first and it was still clearly viewable. Very sharp and clean picture now with drapes and a darker room. We have it ceiling mounted in our Master Bedroom with a downrod dropping it just below the ceiling fan. Had a power drop installed and then all we had to run was an hdmi cable (goes to surround sound media hub as we wouldn’t depend on speakers integrated in any projector). Only oddity is that sometimes out of the blue it will just go black and not project anything for about 2 seconds. Not really all that often, the sound continues and it comes right back. Just weird.

This is an amazing projector for the price. I use it for movies, video games, and occasionally projecting spreadsheets. Very bright and very good contrast for this price range. There are much better hi def projectors available for twice the price, but this is the only one I found at this price that is decent enough for movies and TV, bright enough to use in the daytime (with shades drawn), and displays legible text. Keystone correction is really effective, even focus from top to bottom of screen.

I purchased this Epson VS250 projector on September 30, 2018, after researching and reading reviews. I used it one time in a training, then drove 5 hours to the next training - and it wouldnt work! Very embarrassing!! Called Epson, and now Im being charged Fedex shipping fees to return it for an exchange. Was told it was a sensor issue. I would not purchase this model if Id known it would go out with one use!

Im a lay teacher, author and publisher. I purchased this unit for the classes I teach. Ive only had it for 2 days, and so far I love it. It gives a clear picture in a bright room. The PC-Free feature, which uses a thumb drive, works well after I converted each of my PPT slides to jpegs. Although it still shows instructions at the bottom, its worth not having to carry my laptop with me all the time. I had to purchase a separate HDMI cable, but once connected to my laptop, it duplicates everything thats displayed on my laptop. I had to use PC controls to advance my slideshow; the remote didnt seem to be designed for that, or maybe I still need to figure that part out. The instructions were clear, but the unit is very intuitive even without reading them. Maybe Im just on a high, because the cheap one I purchased and returned was so bad. I highly recommend this Epson. $300 was a good investment in my business and myself.

Pretty decent projector but they really screw you on the cost of a replacement (lamp) bulb. I didn’t actually need the bulb but don’t want to go to a gig without a spare and have it go down because my client is expecting a movie to be shown. So always need to carry a spare bulb. They will screw you on the cost of that bulb though. Kind of like a printer is cheap but they charge you up the a** on the price of the ink for the printer. Same thing. Beware.

We got this to use when camping. I am so pleased with the quality of the picture. We project onto a bed sheet on the side of the camper, and it’s great! As another reviewer stated, the speaker is not very loud for outside, so we do need to hook an auxiliary speaker to it. We have used it with the laptop to stream sports and with a DVD player - both were great. Computer cable is included. HDMI is not.

I bought this as a gift, my time with it was brief. This is a lower resolution projector but I was surprised at the image quality and the brightness it displayed. In a somewhat dark room I projected against a white wall and it looked really good. In a darker environment I can image this would really do a good job, probably good enough to watch movies. The sound isnt HiFi but it isnt terrible either, and it is loud enough that if you are presenting something with audio in a smaller space it would be adequate.
