EDITED 15JUN2019 No! No! NO! So, the one I sent back that was slightly out of warranty, was not repaired for 60 dollars. It was replaced with one that didn’t work. So I sent it back. Got another one. That one didn’t work so I sent it back and another one was sent. Guess what? It doesn’t work long. It runs off battery and shuts down. The attentiveness of customer service was decent, but the product didn’t last. I WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I did not get my value for this projector. —————— I got mine today and ran it through the paces. It came in an Amazon box and within the Amazon box was a plain white box. It was missing the remote control. I contacted AAXA and they responded to me within 15 minutes and will ship the other one today. Thats service! Now for the projector itself: I had the AAXA HD pico before. So I can really contrast the two. It is easy to operate. The owners manual was not included but there is one on their site. My former projector the AAXA Pico HD was 50 lumens. This one is a much noticeable difference at 130 lumens the only drawing 13w tops. The colors are much more vibrant and more realistic than the other. Because of the onboard RAM and memory, the whole thing runs smoother. It has built in wifi and Bluetooth. Hooked it up to wifi like a breeze. Hooked it up to my Bluetooth headphones and speaker. It throws a much larger picture than the last. I have mirrored it off my phone and through the cable with no noticeable difference in quality of sound or picture. Also it is very easy to turn off and on with the switch in the back. Something that I had trouble with in the last model. Mine did come with a power adapter. I was worried that it wouldnt because the previous model, you had to purchase it separately. I couldnt find where to buy one. I was put at ease when there was one in the box. I plan on using this for home movies and camping. This will more than fill the bill. And I love the size being a minimalist. If anything should happen to this I would buy another. Edit 17DEC18 After having this over a year the power connection began to wiggle loose. I would be unaware of this until the battery gave out, usually within the last moments of a movie. Knowing that it was out of warranty I contacted customer service anyway. They were kind and easy to work with. For a small fee they said they would repair it. They did and shipped it back to me quickly at no charge over the repair fee. After having this projector for over a year and a half, I have read several things about it. Yes it would be nice to have different features. But that is not what I agreed to and bought at the time. It is what it is and it’s not what it’s not. And I did receive the remote quickly and it worked well, then as time went on it didn’t work well. I got the bright idea to change the battery and BANG! It worked better than new. So look into changing the battery after a while if you experience problems with it. I would buy this again. I do recommend it highly and I recommend the customer service. I am not paid or affiliated with AAXA That’s my story and and I’m sticking to it.

Hello AAXA! Just wanted to thank you for the awesome AAXA P2A Projector I recently purchased on Amazon. I have lived the history of projection from the early 100 lb Big Light Gun Units, to your original 10 lumen ground breaking portable projector! Now to have 130 lumens, great color, in a 3” form factor with wifi, bluetooth, speaker, Android, Mirroring, 2hr battery life, is beyond imagination! One discovery I want to share: I can wirelessly connect the new WD Passport 500GB Wireless SSD Hard-Drive to the projector, combined with their Android, My Cloud App, and watch flawlessly 500GB of movies, or other content! Thanx Again for your excellent products, great prices, and top customer support!

The manual said to charge for four hours before turning unit on, which I did. The unit and charging adapter were warm when charging and the charging indicator light stayed orange and never turned green to indicate it was fully charged. After four hours, I turned the unit on and got a low battery warning, and the battery showed 12% charge. Tried recharging to no avail. Returning to Amazon (no problem, easy return process) for a replacement. This was a Christmas gift for my wife to use for cake and cookie decorating. Hopefully the replacement will be a winner. I did like the clarity of the image when I turned it on. I tried to pair with my iPhone, and all went well I thought, but my iPhone kept showing not connected but the projector showed a connection. Will have to work on that when I get the replacement, and yes, I know how to pair bluetooth devices. Will update when replacement arrives. Update 01/10/19: Amazon promptly sent me a second unit. This one was defective also. The manual says to charge 4 hours before turning on. I plugged in the charger/adapter, and the charging light on the back of the unit did not come on. Should be orange when charging, then green when charged. The first unit got warm when charger was hooked up, but would not charge. So, I got out my voltmeter to test the charger and it was outputing 12v, so it had to be a defecting projector. I turned the projector on without the charger plugged in and it booted up. The battery icon showed 3 out of 4 bars, so it had been previously charged. So, I requested a return RMA and a refund. Now I have to wait until they receive the defective unit to get a refund credited to my account. My suggestion: Do not buy.

So I thought this is was great and all. Small size, great portability, and a full android os on this small device. It was all to good to be true, and oh boy it was. You see with all this software and energy pumping out of this thing I found it simply amazing that when I check the battery it said 90 percent. See I was ok with that. Well at least after a 3 minutes. When I checked back it said 70 percent...in that 3 minutes. So I waited for 5 minutes with this thing on, thinking that maybe the software was messed up. It went straight down to 20 percent. So I opened up the menu and kept watch on the battery decreasing. In 1 minute of seeing this thing I saw the numbers go down. 20...19....17. It was like a legit countdown to this devices demise. And when it reach 5 percent, it was done. Gone. And then put in the back to charge again and test for a second time. I didnt lose hope which is why I gave it another chance. But boy did this blow out my expectations. This projector has to be the most SINGLE fastest battery drainer of all time, dying in a mere 15 minutes. You cant even watch a quarter of a movie, and dont even get me started with the brightness all the way up. But while the battery is the main villian here, its not without its sidekicks. Oh my god that keypad. It is incredibly difficult to manuveur, especially clicking the buttons to go to another page in the browser thats afford in the operating system. Even the remote that came with it wasnt much help surfing the web. Should you get this? Please dont you dare. It was a complete waste of money.

Love the portability! I love the portability of AAXA P2A while it still holds a nice projection! I have a full-sized Epson in my basement. I still remember how excited I was when I first set up my home theatre. Two years past, I just realized how little time I used it. Also because it was mounted and heavy, there is no easy way I can change anything about it. Although the P2A cannot compare with a full-sized projector regarding brightness and resolution, I love the portability. I can carry it easily in a backpack or even a case! Planning a trip next month, and this little thing will go with me for sure! Plus, it doesn’t look bad at all! I simply used it in the living room with all lights off (even didn’t shut the blinds). I have no issue to watch video. The built-in speaker is a bit weak, but most portable models have this issue. When I was by myself, I just plugged in an earbud. All in all, it’s worth the money!

I really like this little projector I have only played with for one day. It has a mouse on top so is easy and shouldn’t be a deal if you lose the remote. It’s Android you can download more apps and should work with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse I streamed content from my galaxy s8 with no problem. My iPhone didn’t seem to connect to stream wirelessly. The picture is great (for what I use it for) if your using as a monitor with small writing I can see that being a issue. If you have wifi on the battery seem to go dead fast. So if not plugged in I would turn down brightness airplain mode and use wire or usb drive.

I tried 2 different USB thumbdrives (a 4GB cheap one and an 8GB Patriot Exporter). It detected the drives being inserted but couldnt see any files on them (tried FAT and FAT32 formats). I also tried an 8GB SD card with an SD to USB adapter. I could see the PPT and PPTX files on it. When I tried to open the PPT file in the WPS app, the first slide would load and then the application would crash. I just ordered a mini-HDMI adapter to test that functionality.

One day it’s working, the next it’s not. My boyfriend got it to work with amazon prime video on his android device but it wouldn’t work for my iPhone 6s. And last night I got it to work with the Broadway hd app, but tonight no dice. Also doesn’t work with Netflix app. Seems like it only works with internet-streamed media. What’s the point? And yes, I ran the suggested update when the device asked me to update the Happy Cast app.

I loved this while it worked. I used it to mirror my iPhone screen to cut fondant pieces for a cake. It worked great for that. However, it stopped working partway through. I was past the Amazon return date, but it was still covered under warranty by the manufacturer. The warranty process was quick and easy, and they did replace the defective unit. Have not had he opportunity to use the new unit yet (just arrived a day ago), but will update when I get the opportunity to. Hopefully, the new unit works and I can come back and leave a much better review.
