Work as expected, reads my old french dvds, gets on amazon instant video and youtube (and lots of others)... A lot smaller in size than expected (7" 3/4 deep, 10" 1/2 wide) without connections.

Love this DVD player. It was super easy to set up, and it immediately played my DVDs from Australia. The picture is excellent as well. It also played my DVDs from the USA with no problem.

It has been nice being able to watch European and Australian/NZ versions of hard-to-get series and movies. Often, U.S. versions lack English subtitles or captions, while the Euro versions are more likely to have those features. This BDP3200 seems to automatically seek CC on a disc, when my previous Sony BD player was unable to. (When will manufacturers realize that they are losing quite a few customers when they dont include CC or sdh?) The only downside Ive experienced is that I occasionally run into BluRay region A discs that declare "This disc is not intended to play in your region." I havent been able find a work-around. Ive installed the latest firmware update from Sony, but no joy. The video and audio are excellent. After I install my new wi-fi modem, Ill update this review.

I would give it a 5 star if there wouldnt be a problem to connect to the Internet. I am so frustrated with it, searching for a solution... Every time I turn the player on, it gives me an error message when I want to open up an app. "A network error occurred." So I try reconnect and it shows that it connects to the router but Internet connection failed. The only way I could get it to work if I restart my router and restart my player and reconnect to my router. I also have another router but it wouldnt connect to it in any circumstance... My other devices working fine with the wifi. It is really inconvenient to do every single time if I want to use the streaming services. On the other hand the player plays all the regions and I am really happy with it. It could be such an awesome player if the Internet connection problem wouldnt exist! Im still searching for a solution...

Everything was great even saving about 70.00 vs new ! This was new condition ! Very impressed with the rapid load/start feature. My old one took for ever to load/start thus the prompt for replacement.I was also able to play some old relics that I collected from Pal and other zones .... Works like a champ no need to worry about taking up a lot of shelf space either ... As it is the compact chassis design.Would I buy again ? Ten times over ..,. Absolutely even with a remote control

This piece of crap plays dvds just fine but don’t try using the apps. My internet/WiFi works just fine can watch movies etc on my phone and iPad but even using a hard connection with an Ethernet cable the movies stutter and stop constantly and the unit won’t respond to the remote. I spent $165.00 for a smart all region DVD player...not a hunk of junk. Had it not quite 2 mos and this happens. Bought the warranty...watch them tell me that it doesn’t cover this problem. Buyer beware!

Totally plug-n-play. I was concerned about a player that was modified by a third party. However, my worries proved to be unfounded as this has worked perfectly from the moment I plugged it in. If you put in a DVD from any region the player automatically reads and switches to the correct region. For some reason it does not do this for Blu-ray discs. But you are provided with a list of regions and which colored button to push prior to inserting the disc into the player. Hopefully, this slight hitch will be addressed in the next few years as I see no reason why the player can auto-adjust for DVDs but not for Blu-ray. But this is a small issue, all things considered. In short, if I knew everything I know now before I bought it would I still make the purchase? Absolutely!! My only mistake was in waiting too long! I should have bought this years ago! :)

The player played all regions of discs and blu-rays flawlessly. HOWEVER, streaming was another story. I have 120 mb internet so I know that speed wasnt the issue but I had alot of trouble with Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming. I also had issues with using the player to stream video over my home network - both with a hard wired and wireless connection. I just dont think that its built very well for those particular uses but if all you want is a good multi-region player this is a good option.

Better instructions would be nice. Im stupid. Also, no buttons to push when the remote is lost. . . . . or the dog eats it.

This BR player is really awesome. I cant believe the picture quality and all the features for its small size. My first blue ray player was the size of a brief case but this is smaller than a small box of cereal. It comes with a thin HDMI cable but no Digital Audio cable and No Batteries for the remote. If you are going to include the HDMI Cable, add the audio cable and the 2 AAA batteries, especially for the price! This is also a Region Free Player and I love BBC comedy. Now I can buy DVDs that are not available in region 1.
