I ordered two BDPS 3700 Blu Ray Players which were delivered timely. The first has been set up and has NOT eaten a disc as yet. It operates well and has exhibited no negative issues as others have experienced. The other has not been installed yet but I have been notified that the warranty is only for 30 days. If they work as expected they will be one of the better buys in this product line.

This is the first refurbished item I have purchased, so I did it with some apprehension. Overall I have been very pleased. The product and user guide appear brand-new. For me this is an upgrade from an older Sony DVD player. Most features are the same. This one of course plays Blu-Ray discs, and its somewhat easier to navigate among the menu items. Recommended.

For Blu-rays, it looks good and sounds good. But for DVDs of SD sources it really is terrible. It is night and day worse with SD sources than my moms 10 year old DVD player. I suppose for the price, you dont get upsampling, or anything like that. Also, it takes forever to load a Blu-ray. Its a Blu-ray player. Thats it. Oh yeah, it does Netflix and other streaming stuff, but really, dont you have that on every device now? Its just clutter.

Bought a refurb of the same player that I bought new a few years ago. Unfortunately the new refurbished unit began to fail within 2 months: intermittent lockups & freezing requiring uinplug (not simple power off--had to unplug unit and replug to get it to work again), plus loss of WiFi connection requiring setting up the unit as if I had never configured it before. I love the Sony Player, but I will not be buying a refurbished Sony player again.

No complaints. I bought this so my wife can play her P90X DVDs for her workouts. I chose this model because of its small size and no-frills cost. It works fine for playing physical media. Dont buy this for the apps. Its no substitute for a Roku or other streaming player. Just use it as a DVD/Blu-Ray player and you should be fine. The refurbished model was at least $20 less than a new one if I recall correctly. This particular model has wi-fi and in hindsight I see no reason to pay more for that.

This model works well for streaming and all other functions. It is a good deal for the money. The new menu format is a little confusing but that could be because I am not a technophile. Then again, a technophile (if there is such a thing) would want something much more complicated anyway - so there you go.

The player was easy to set up, and doesn’t seem to have any problems with staying connected. It came with a remote. It can connect wirelessly but the tv I connected it to is not a smart tv, so I needed an hdmi cable. That was not included. I had several so it wasn’t a problem. Just be aware you might need one. A really great purchase for the price!

I bought this 6 months ago and have just now started using it for more that the Blu-ray DVD feature. One reason I purchased it was because the description says you can access over 300+ apps. There are 30 or so in this player and no more can be added. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to use it to access apps other than the most basic. Very misleading and I would return it if the return period had not expired.

Worked great. WiFi setup was effortless. Great video quality. Very easy to get my TV code programmed into the remote. As a bonus, I prefer buying certified factory refurbished items. Not only is the price point usually more attractive, but to my way of thinking since a human has tested the device, there is less likelihood of a random production failure showing up.

This is the third one of these I have bought. I bought one for myself to try it out. I then bought one for my girlfriend for Christmas. She liked the streaming services and cancelled cable. But then her player kept giving an error message and wouldnt do anything. I actually had to rip it apart to get the DVD out of it. I bought another one for her and she hasnt had any problems yet. Maybe the first one was faulty. These do not work very well with screen mirroring.
