This player has every single feature I was looking for! This is NOT your normal DMP-BD270. This specific multizone player offered by MULTISYSTEM-ELECTRONICS is the one you want to purchase to play Blu-ray discs purchased outside of region A (USA). I purchased this to play region B, which is the European region. I am a HUGE Magnum, p.i. fan and they only offered the Blu-Ray version of the show in the UK. So, I ordered the Blu-ray set from Amazon.uk and the player from MULTISYSTEM-ELECTRONICS from the regular Amazon USA website. I couldnt believe how easy the setup was and within minutes of receiving the player I was watching my all-time favorite show like I had never seen before. It is thrilling to be able to see these incredibly small details! The audio quality is astonishing. So, if you are needing to watch discs from other regions, this is the player I recommend. The player is small in size, quiet, has wifi for streaming and offers a host of other current DVD player features. Grade: A

Dear sir, Im writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with the product. I live in a region of the world that uses 220V. All the marketing information on Amazon and even on the packaging of the Player when it arrived said 110 - 240v. I just connected the device for the first time this morning and it went up in smoke. No voltage switch to change to 240v or automatically use 240V , its a straight 120v device. Complete waste of my $200 and the $40 spent to ship it to Lagos, Nigeria. Not pleased about this misinformation at all.

Very happy with this dvd player. Nice picture and it works with all regions of dvds weve tried. We were a little confused about the 4k. We originally thought it was 4k but its 4k upscaling which means it plays blue rays to almost 4k quality but it does not play 4k dvds.

At last I can watch movies made in Hollywood that Hollywood is too stupid to release on DVD in the U.S. Like "To Each His Own". Oscar for best actress and if it were not for this Blu Ray player, I would have to visit another country to see it. Go figure. Anyway, this Panasonic is a wow. However, there should be instructions. There were none, but a genius friend of mine figured it out and I am delighted.

works great. just played my first non-us dvd and it played perfectly. opens up the world of british humor which I have always loved without worries about region! also makes screen quality of regular dvds more crisp and clear.

It is a shame the HDMI CEC feature misbehaves and continuously make the tv switch to this device, otherwise would be perfect
