Will not consistently play Region 1 Blu Ray disks. I put one it, works fine, another works great, the third one? I get an error code telling me it can’t play that region. But they are ALL Region 1 (my copy of Wind River won’t play). Also, changing regions doesn’t work on mine. I have one European disk and I can’t watch it... and I paid big bucks for this machine so I could watch it. Not happy. Worst part? I’m in remote AK and cannot easily return it.... so mad.

So far, so good. I’ve had this for a few days and it definitely plays both US and British Blu-Ray discs. I was initially having some audio sync issues, about which the LG website said to try unplugging the HDMI cable, then plugging it back in the opposite direction. (ie: whichever end was in the TV, put that end into the Player instead) — to trigger an AV re-sync. Seemed to help.

I bought this unit because I have UK discs that wont play on conventional players and the discs are not available in the US. Excellent product performance in picture and sound. I also received the unit in excellent condition and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hate that if you enjoy 3D movies you are forced to buy region B movies and therefore have to pay double for a region free player. This is definitely one of the better 3D players that also supports 4K. It supports Dolby Atmos and even though its not listed anywhere yes it also supports DTS:X.

You cant get a more simple player to buy. Only 2 cords. One is the electrical cord which I would say is about 3 feet. The other one is the HDMI cable which shows you where to plug it in and this cable goes to the TV. Thats it.

Havent tried 3-D, but this player plays every format it says it will. It came with everything needed, including the remote. Works great with no issues. My only regret is that I bought it for my now-ex-boyfriend instead of myself.

This will NOT play all region discs. I found out this week it will NOT play Region 2. I called LG for help and they said that this machine is not made to play all discs. They were no help and neither was Amazon. Its a nice unit but dont expect it to play all discs. It wont even play some Blu Rays that would play on my regular player.
