The battery lasts a long time and is lightweight.
Even when I play a round, the battery usage is only about 20%, and when I wear it as a watch on a regular basis, it only uses 2-3% per day on average, which was surprising. When I used other brands, I had to charge it every evening, which was annoying, but with the S44, I've been wearing it for a week now without charging it. What surprised me the most was that my phone fell out of the cart during a round, and the S44 notified me. Of course, other devices vibrate when they fall away, but that's the end of it. With the S44, when I press the confirm button, it shows an arrow indicating which side my phone is, so I was able to easily find my phone that was dropped in the middle of the lawn. The more I use this watch, the more I like it.

Love the Garmin S44 Watch!!!!
Really enjoying the Garmin S44 Watch!!!! With the Garmin subscription you get the premium features which really enhance the overall experience. Really like the auto-shot detection with the corresponding prompting of the club used. Being able to see all of your shots, shape and distance for each club displayed on the actual hole layout after the round is a homerun!!!! I am currently sharing scorecards with my Brother-In-Law and we enjoy being able to see each others results (good, bad or ugly), especially when we are not fortunate enough to be able to play together. Thank you Garmin for a great product!!!! P.S. I also have the Garmin R10 for my simulator and it works great, as well.
Approach S50, Blacked Out!
First off, the S50 looks nice. Really nice. Very comfortable and low-profile. The band is simply awesome. Off the course, it looks clean yet athletic. On the course, it gives me the information i need especially at courses that i'm either unfamiliar with or haven't played on in awhile. As i'm coming off a hand injury, i haven't been able to play much but i'll be purchasing the Garmin Membership as soon as i can play more often. All in all, best golf watch on the market even without the membership. Well done, Garmin. Well done.
