Chrome Mermaid scratches easily
I got the Chrome Mermaid PopSocket, and I'm a bit disappointed. It's pearlescent and pretty when it catches the light (not as blue/purple tinged as the photo shows, more white pearl), but it scratched almost immediately! After just a month of use, there's visible smudges and scratches that really put a damper on the shiny effect.
My favorite color is take a guess?

I love this!! It’s sturdy enough to hold my phone on a flat surface, I pop it in and out when I need so it’s easy to use. If you have the glitter in green then I’d definitely buy that one too!

This is my second one. It’s durable and super cute too. I love that it held up for almost a year and a half. I got this one on sale!

I got the Chrome Mermaid PopSocket, and I'm a bit disappointed. Already breaking
It's very cute and the design goes perfect with my phone case, but I've only had it for like a month and it's already ripping off where it attaches to the base. I'm not sure if it's a defect or if the quality of popsockets have just gone down because my previous one lasted 2 years and only broke when I tried to remove it from my previous phone case and I was being a bit aggressive with it.
Falling apart
I have been using this pop socket for about a month or so and the plastic that pops out is ripping apart and almost completely broken. I’ve never had this happen and I’m very surprised by this quality issue.
Dull
What you end up receiving isn’t nearly as vibrant as the picture. I understand there being variation in the design, as this is a real stone, but these were handpicked by a real person. Rather disappointed.
Disappointed
I’m a huge supporter of pop sockets since they saved my phone so many times. But I am very disappointed with this product. I haven’t had it long and it already broke very close to the event I need it for.
Product Defect
My original order was 2 PopStations. One was fine but the second one was broken and allowed the insert to come out. It couldn’t spin freely. Customer support was very helpful after I provided pictures. They proceeded to replace the entire order of 2. When the replacements arrived one of the two was, again, broken in the same way. Since I now had two unbroken PopStations, the order was complete but I informed them of the broken product. I informed them in hopes that they may find the defect and correct it.
poor execution, great concept
everything works about this accessory except the internal area to secure the lid was breaking off on arrival and there is not a workaround to continue its use - was so cautious and aware of all the moving pieces too -- shame!
