Life long Holster owner
I had a pocket holster for my flip phone. I did not know they made them for the Smart phones. Until my lawn mower met the Smart phone first!!! The key is the belt clip that NEVER comes off. I am an engineer. I have also designed some plastic parts. A GREAT DESIGN
Perplexed: Niteize still uses poor quality Velcro
I bought my first Niteize phone case five or six years ago. I have two of these cases one that I wear for work and one that I use when I’m not working at my handyman/carpentry job. I have experienced the Velcro failure that other people doing reviews have also commented on. The most recent one was perhaps a year and a half ago and on that occasion, I was in communication with your warranty department and sent them photos of the phone case and the faulty Velcro strips. They provided me a new phone case and here we are again. One of the questions that I ask them at that time was how long is it reasonable for these phone cases to last? I never got a response to that. Everything that is man-made has a useful life, but what is it for this phone case? In my work, I am constantly bending over and with the ineffective Velcro, I frequently have my phone falling out of the case, and/or my clutch battery back up that I carry behind the elastic partition. My question today is the design team at your company, listening to the customer reviews and concerns that have been expressed? The quality of the case itself, excluding the Velcro of course, is very good quality, but the quality of the case in fact is diminished by the quality of the Velcro that you use. You can see by my photo that my case is in good condition but if you take a careful look at the Velcro, you can see that the strip on the case, as compared to the portion on the cover, is not looking good. Maybe it is the opposite portion that is on the cover itself that has lost its fuzzy condition and or been worn out, but one way or the other it is not attaching properly and securely. Before I buy another new case, I will be in contact with your company. As to my willingness to recommend this case to others, I have mixed feelings. I have recommended it previously and people have purchased it, but given the fact that I’m disappointed, and many of your customers have commented on the same Velcro problem, it makes me wonder how many people are satisfied?

Bonjour, je suis à mon troisième étui Nite Izd, très heureux de la qualité mais avec le temps, il ne peux protéger mon Iphone 14, le velcro n’est pas assez solide. Il tombe par terre.
Velcro defect on case.
Like the case but will not stay closed. The Velcro is defective. Would like a replacement.
Excellent phone holder
I’ve had this for two years and it’s been nothing but gold for me. I love it definitely recommend it.
Very durable
I have had this case for 5 years and it's still great. (Periodically I do have to pick fibers out of the hooks of the closure to get it to work again.) I finally had to get a new phone, and iPhone SE 3. It is slightly too large for my original Nite Ize case, but I don't want to buy an XL because it will be too big. Do you make Large or Medium sizes for the smaller SE phones?
Longest Lasting
This is my third one that I have bought. The first one was for my first phone it worked great but I had to replace it because it was too small for my new phone. I had the second one for over 5 years before I broke the belt clip getting into the car. I fell into the car and caught it hard on the door frame. My fault. This is the longest lasting holster I have ever owned. Most didn't last two months! The weakest part is the Velcro closing. I added a buckle easily and will add it to my new one when it wears out.
Tearing Velcro
Bought this less than 3 months ago and falling apart!
Great holster, but ...
Everything is good about this holster case, except for the velcro. The case will live forever, but unfortunately the velcro does not. My phone popped out as I was doing some manuvering. I had a shock case on the phone so it is OK. Wish there was an easy fix for the holster case. Knocked off a couple of stars. Thanks Bob
Nice case but..
This case is really nice. I like it except the velcro wears out extremely fast rendering the case usless to me. It will not stay closed after just a couple of months. The velcro just tears apart. It is dissapointing since it is the only case that holds my iphone with a otterbox and a pop soccet on it comfortably.
Great holster for a cell phone or wallet
I bought one and used it as a cell phone holster when I had a smaller phone ! It worked really good for a long time until the velcro would not keep the phone in the case ! So I got a bigger phone and bought a bigger holster and that holster worked great until the velcro would not secure the phone again ! I love the case but I wish it had a snap button to secure the phone with confidence ! I tried to use the holster to keep my wallet on my side but the wallet fell out on the street because the velcro is worn out ! I was lucky someone saw the wallet fall out onto the side walk as I was running to catch a bus ! Other wise my wallet might of been gone forever ! The velcro should be changed out with a more secure solution ! Great product thou ! I also have a lot of Nite Ize products with no issues at all as I am an outdoor enthusiast !
