Good quality and range
Very pleased. This is a good price/range point. Very clear reception. My best range in the central Maryland area (rolling hills) 45 miles. MXTA26 antenna (32", 6db) on roof of my car. I used this tool: https://www.heywhatsthat.com/profiler.htm. Experimentation seems to prove it out. It factors in atmospheric refraction which helps go beyond pure line of sight. Terrain was favorable.

Tuff radio for any side by side
This is my second one .. love the radio .. we run them in our side by side.. clear and loud .. very durable… these radio has been through mud and rain .. still going .. I highly recommend this to all friends
Awesome GMRS radio
I purchased this radio based on a review on youtube by Notarubicon. I am pleased with its operation and the hand mic does feel awesome. The speakers are plenty loud and although this radio is narrow band it still sounds good from my usage of approximately 8 miles of urban and rural coverage to another user using a beofang uv5g.
Perfect clean install for a soft top vehicle
All 3 of my MXTs hit repeaters farther than they are expected to. The 275 is no exception. And the hidden clean install is awesome.
MTX275
First I gave it 4stars only because I haven't had the chance to try it on road. As far a ease of installation it is fantastic. Fit's in my Jeep TJ with no problem. I liked it so much I bought another one for a friend's birthday this month. Great value and compact so you can put it almost anywhere.

MXT275 in 1996 Bronco
Installed in our 1996 Ford Bronco. The small footprint of the MXT275 allowed me to install behind the dash. Power from an AuxLight box. Ran an extension for the mic and hid the port for a clean install. Went with the Ghost antennae. Excellent range when we are off road and no antennae to get caught / ripped off when going through the brush. I have an MXT575 waiting for my '22 Bronco to arrive.

Very small but powerful. This radio works great and is now my go to brand!
