LOVE
I LOVE this radio! The color is more of a dark grey. It’s digital, presets, aux input, although volume doesn’t go THAT loud , its loud enough. it’s PERFECT for chill times like sitting by the lake or relaxing. I don’t need to have the volume on high either so it’s awesome. Got one for my dad and another on the way for my grandpa. I’m so tired of my phone battery running low because I want to listen to music. It has the option to plug into wall but doesn’t come with the plug. That’s separate but I want it for the portability anyways so it’s not a problem.
Radio review
The reception is good and and fm sounds great only con I just don’t like how I can disable the back light from turning off and it doesn’t come with a charger but I don’t really care.
Good quality sound, once programmed it works well and worth the $20 price. Minus one star for no headphone/audio out jack.
I wanted a simple AM/FM portable radio to replace one that had died recently. This one was $20 at Target and works well and sounds great. The tone of the speaker is mellow and, once you figure out the multi function buttons and programming, it works fairly easily and receives stations in both AM and FM better than my previous radio.
The LED shows the time of day, station selected upon power up and then goes dark (standby mode) to save batteries. It is bright enough to view in daylight. The tuning and volume knobs work well and light up the LED when you adjust them. The dials and back have a nice soft rubber coating. Once you've preset AM and FM stations, it works nicely, so bear with it until then and you'll be happy.
The only negatives at this price point are the instructions, programming complexity and lack of a headphone jack.
Since dimensions are not listed anywhere, here they are: 6.25" L x 3.75" W x 2" H. Radio weighs 14.3 ounces with 4 AA batteries installed.
