JBL PartyBox 720 Bluetooth Portable Party Speaker

Light Strip didn't work right out of box
I Got this speaker as a gift brand new and right out the box the side LED strip doesn't work. I've tried every single method of trouble shooting and am disapointed that such a high end speaker has this issue. I hope I dont receive a refurbished speaker and can get mine swapped out with a non faulty model.

Amazing party speaker!
OK, so this thing is big, feels solid as a tank, and it's heavy! Also, it SOUNDS big and heavy! This speaker will definitely bring the party. Not only is it capable of getting loud enough to cover a few city blocks with thumping bass, yet gloriously clear mids and highs, the light show is absolutely amazing! It even sounds great at lower volume levels, if you're in a smaller back yard setting. But again, if you want a big and bombastic block or pool party, the PartyBox 720 should definitely be your go to, if it's in your budget. The mic and guitar inputs work flawlessly, so if you want to use it for your karaoke setup, it will definitely fill that bill. The battery life seems really solid, I got 10+ hours at moderate volume level, and they also recharge quickly. With the option of hot swapping them, as well as being able to power directly while charging, the party can be endless. As I stated earlier, this thing is big and heavy, so it's going to take a little knocking around while you're moving it. That doesn't seem to be an issue in my use, so far, and as long as you're not stage diving off of it, or otherwise outright abusing it, it should be able to handle the occasional party foul. I really don't see how you could go wrong with the PartyBox 720, if it fits your budget, it should definitely meet your party or quick and easy PA type needs.

Absolute powerhouse as both Speaker & Amp
As the title says, this thing is an absolute powerhouse that can be used for large parties or outdoor concerts. It’s pretty massive & heavy, but the setup was effortless, Bluetooth connection was strong, and the sound quality blew me away. I also love that it could be used as both a regular speaker and as an amp! The bass is bold and clean (especially with Bass Boost on), and even at max volume there’s no distortion. It’s built to last with solid materials, sturdy handles, and wheels that make it easy to move. The LED light show adds a fun touch that changes the vibe. For me, this speaker added a lot of convenience. I no longer need to hook up multiple smaller speakers or deal with power cords everywhere. The battery easily lasts through long events and I was honestly surprised that it could be used wirelessly with replaceable batteries, if you want to extend the time playing without being connected to an outlet. If you host events, this is a perfect fit. My only tip is to expect it to be large and loud, but that’s part of what makes it so impressive.

I really like this speaker I've always wanted to get one for my home bar now sound like a concert hall so easy to use love the light show battery last a long time I really didn't find anything I didn't like about it would buy again

Beast of a Bluetooth/Pa/Sub Combo
This is a beast, if your looking for something you can use for partys or gathering where you want music but don't want to bring a bunch of gear this is it. You could even easily have 2 and DJ events like a pro. Pros: Easy setup, all in one, multiple uses, DJ, Karaoke, musical equipment amp, very loud, clear, clean bass, long lasting battery, dual power, rain proof. Cons: Large, but some would consider this a good thing, heavy and for some this will be difficult to move in and out of cars or around uneven terrain. That's about all the cons, this is such good value for the money. It's very capable and if you use half of the features your doing well because there are many.

Blows any other portable speaker out of the water!
Cannot express enough how much of a powerhouse this PartyBox is. In all honesty I only saw myself turning the volume up to full blast a handful of times because at 1/4 and above is more than enough for any decent size gathering. The pair of 9” subwoofers in combination with the tweeters deliver that JBL signature sound that fills up any space you wheel this speaker into. I recently used this for my sister in law’s birthday party and all the adults along with my nieces and nephews found themselves just staring at the lightshow at times. Which can be cycled through many different presets on the speaker itself, or get customized effects through the JBL PartyBox app. Along with customizing you also get EQ calibration, mic controls, sound effects, along with other fine tuning capabilities. My only complaint for lack of a better word is that the sound effects were at about a 2-3 second delay at times. But I’m sure that would be mitigated through a software update soon. Also, even with knowledge of the specifications on this speaker, it’s a lot taller and heavier than I thought in person. So might want to take that into consideration for storage and transportation purposes. All in all, I cannot recommend this speaker enough for anyone that hosts a lot of parties, DJ’s, or just likes to be the person in the group that brings the party over!

Great customizable speaker that keeps party going!
Love this speaker! Massive sound that delivers subtlety. Heard lots of background notes and things I haven't heard before from other speakers. It's big and needs the wheels to get it around. It easily comes up to my waist. And feels about 70 lbs. Easy to link to other JBL speakers thru Auracast or the JBL Partybox app. I've hooked up the JBL Partybox 110 and the Extreme 4 with littlw effort. Makes each room in the house sync and keeps the music consistent. Microphone and instrument controls are easily accessible from the top. And the app offers even more customization. My kids really love the party shoutouts and the airhorn. I can’t get them to stop.

Amazingly big, powerful, clean sound!
This JBL PartyBox 720 is absolutely amazing! Yes, it’s big and heavy (thank goodness it has wheels), but the sound is so full, clear and easy on the ears…even at loud volumes. We used it for our end of summer pool day and the music filled the whole backyard without being obtrusive. It continued the music on one full battery charge for OVER 10 hours and still could keep going!! Plenty of battery left. We plugged in our wireless karaoke mics and had a karaoke night too. When opening the back flap to access the input, there’s even a light inside for those dark dance parties. Being able to adjust the mic volume, eq, and reverb (echo) right on the Party Box is so convenient. Everyone loved the light show from the Party Box too! Added so much fun to the night. Bluetooth connected flawlessly, and the app was fun to control even deeper…eq settings, light settings, and more. We are so impressed. The pure power of sound, bass boost settings for inside and outdoors, and crisp, clean mids and highs are a pleasure to hear. Since it is such a big unit, though, it’ll be for home use only. We will take our small party box for tailgating, and travel (it sounds amazing too). If you want high quality sound, excellent eq, light, and mic control (I even plugged in my guitar and pedalboard and was impressed)…this is for you. Keep in mind it’s large and you’ll need a place to store it. Soon we will be using it for a portable PA for a school event, and I expect it will work great.

Rolling fun guaranteed!
I rolled my JBL PartyBox 720 to the center of my living room and plugged it in , it is an impressive all in one speaker with interesting (to say the least) features. Beautiful sound, great light arrays, impressive connectivity w Karaoke capable inputs. Don't look for a remote control as all is operated at the speaker or through the app and your phone. This is a modern stereo system and should be a replacement for any and all systems. The sound will make you very happy as it did for me.
