Great speaker !
Took the Altec Lansing HydraWave Speaker to the beach yesterday ! ☀️???????? It was easy to set up to Bluetooth and use right away. The volume goes up pretty high , I just didn’t want to be rude and do it at the beach ???? I will definitely be using this while I clean & cook ! ???? It says it’s waterproof so I’ll also be taking it to the pool . ????

Must buy!!
This thing is amazing!! Way better than an Alexa or any other smart speaker I’ve had. It floats in water and is waterproof so perfect for outside or the beach. It gets loud and has good bass on it!! Super easy to set up and it’s very well made and durable. Very affordable too !

The Hydrawave is everything proof and starts the p
The Hydrawave is amazing! I am going on a trip to Mexico on the water so this came just in time. It’s everything proof I tried it out in the pool at my place and it is loud,it floats and you can attach it to anything! It has all the cables you need. It’s really cool how it can pair up with other devices. I was able to connect to three other peoples devices and we were all playing the same music at the same time. It was really cool.

Amazing !
Amazing! The sound quality it’s so nice and loud, I love it for house parties or taking it to my pool since I can put it in the water and have the music follow me and the battery lasts so log!! I haven’t charged it since I got it and it has a wide range connectivity. I love it!

My new favorite speaker
This speaker is so great ! It's a nice size and fits nicely in any beach bag. It is water proof which is perfect for days by the pool or at the beach. The sound is so loud for its size. I was impressed. It took 2 seconds to connect to my phone with any difficulties

Great battery life
This compact speaker is amazing, is small but the sound is really clear and has different settings. The battery lasted me the whole day and it is waterproof so I took it to the beach and had no issues. It was easy to connect to my phone

Good indestructible portable speaker
This speaker is a good option if you’re wanting something to bring music to risky events and activities. At the beach, on a boat, or by the pool. If you’re on a construction site and can have music this is a good choice since it’s very durable. If you’re someone that likes to strap a speaker to your bike this could be a good option. For all those uses I would think most people would want an inexpensive option that works and is durable for that random chance it might break or get lost in a river. The volume can get pretty loud on it so you can use it close range or far range. The pairing process was very easy. I simply turned it on with the power button and it appeared as an option under Bluetooth on my iPad. The naming of the device was intuitive to know which device I needed to select. I really was impressed by how seamless the Bluetooth experience was since some cheaper electronics can be a pain to pair. The only user interface aspect I don’t like is that I can’t figure out how to tell what percentage the battery is. I also can’t speak to how quickly the battery drains or what activities drain it more since I can’t monitor the battery drain rate. I tried this speaker with a variety of music genres, volumes, and tones. I noticed for quiet songs there is a noticeable hissing that you can hear if you’re sitting next to the speaker. Also songs with subtle details or lots of layers can get a little muddy sounding. Rock music sounded the best on it but I think that genre is forgiving to the poorest of speakers. Vocals are much more prominent than other aspects of songs making it harder to hear the music alongside the vocals. If I were looking for a speaker to use for everyday listening at my house I would not choose this. For just a little more money you can get a much better speaker for listening purposes. This product really is for those wanting music in extreme environments. The design focuses on durability rather than audio quality. For me this is one to bring on the boat. It’s also perfect for this purpose since it floats! No worry if you drop it in unless a strong current pulls it away. The accessories with it were neat. I don’t know that all were necessary but I’ll take them. I do wish the charger was C to C. This rating is considering the purpose of this speaker and its price. It is very light weight.

Gets loud, lacks sound quality
This is a good little speaker that can get loud but does lack sound quality. There is a noticeable difference from this device and my other ones, and this one sounds distorted. Could be because it's supposed to be waterproof? Either way, will be using this out by the water since it does get loud.

Portability
I liked the speaker, practical to take anywhere, small and not heavy...waterproof and floats if you drop it in water...for me it sounds good considering that it is small and not expensive.
