Altec Lansing HydraOrbit Everything Proof Speaker

Nice sound in a small package!
So far, this speaker has proven to be "everything proof." Submerged fully into water while on and it continued working with no lapse or skipping. Dropped by mistake and no issues. It has good quality sound for its size. Battery has good life. This speaker does float in the water but it is top heavy so the speaker stays Submerged. I would recommend as it is comparable to higher priced speakers.

Excellent Sound Quality!
I recently got the Altec Lansing HydraOrbit Everything Proof Speaker to replace an older wireless speaker of mine that no longer held a charge. I have to say that I really love the sound quality of this speaker. I love the compact, rugged design, too. As for the sound quality, I'm one of those who loves bass & this speaker kicks it in the bass category! It packs a lot of punch into that small package. The main places I use the speaker is outside while doing yardwork & I also listen to music when taking a shower. In those situations, in order to hear over the noise, I have the speaker at max volume. The only problem with this speaker is that the volume level could go up a little higher & bass quality is so good, the speaker vibrates right off whatever surface it is on, even with having rubber feet. The first time it happened, it vibrated right off my bathroom vanity onto the floor. Good news, though, is you would never know it even fell. No damage whatsoever. I've since learned to set the speaker in the sink or when outside, I hang the speaker on something using the strap that it comes with. It would be great if there was a way adjust the treble/bass. I did adjust it through the equalizer on my cell phone, which did help a little bit but I think being able to adjust it through the speaker itself might work better. That's the only reason I gave the speaker 4 out of 5 stars. The battery life seems to be good as well. It says it's good for 10 hrs. When I was out doing yardwork for 3-4 hrs & I had the speaker linked to my cell phone the whole time listening to music with no problem. It comes with a USB charging cable but does not have wireless (Qi) charging capabilities. The speaker is also waterproof. I know it's not the biggest test but it started raining a bit when I had it outside & there was no problem with the speaker getting wet. Overall, I would highly recommend this speaker. The rugged, compact design along with the excellent sound quality, you can't go wrong!

Nice sound quality
I am really enjoying my new HydraOrbit speaker. It's compact, easy to use, and has nice sound quality. I use it in the kitchen while cooking, and it's out of the way, but still lets me listen to my music or podcasts

Small but Powerful
HydraOrbit EverythingProof Wireless Speaker is small, but powerful. Pairing/connecting the speaker to the Bluetooth was easy.. The durable, compact, waterproof speaker has great quality bass vibration.. The range is about 100 feet plus gives 10 hours of battery life.. and float in water.. A carry strap is included.. I were going to give it to my grandson, but I decided to keep it for myself.. Great for long bike ride.. Definitely would recommend it..

Great little speaker with a lot of power.
I bought the speaker to have something for the garage and also for the backyard, and I was positively surprised. This small speaker has a lot of power and the battery seems to run forever. Even rain doesn't harm the speaker and it runs as if nothing happened.

It is shower proof
I use this speaker in the shower. It sounds great with the stone cave acoustics amplifying the sound. If it gets water on it the sound will muffle until a big beat hits or I can shake it off. I’m interested to see how the sound quality is with multiple speakers. Regardless Bose and Klipsch are my preferred audiophile brands.
