Great Video :: Easy App :: Tough Install
We've used nest products in our house for years. I like to think we're in the early adopter category, for what it's worth. That said, we didn't jump right into a doorbell cam because have an older house and already had nest cams and nest products installed around the house. It seemed a bit superfluous to install a doorbell cam, too. After some exterior home security issues on our street we decided to add a doorbell cam. I should have paid a little better attention tot he requirements before taking on the task of installing this with our house from the 1950s. Our doorbell wiring and transformer weren't compatible and we ended up recruiting an electrician friend to help with the install. After a few trips to the local big box hardware store we had what we needed. A day later we were installed and the project complete. We're very happy with the quality of the video and the ease of use on the app. There are some occasional loading glitches, but given how far technology has come in the past decade or two these glitches are minor. The glitches are predominately loading and buffering delays that seem to resolve themselves on their own if I'm patient.
