Price Match Guarantee

If our price drops during the holiday season, we’ll match it.

The Holiday Price Match Guarantee lets you shop confidently. Most products purchased at Target between October 31 and December 31 can be price matched through January 15 with Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee.

This guarantee allows customers to request a price match to the current Target selling price for an immediately available, new item during our extended Holiday Return & Exchange period. Items excluded from the extended Holiday Return & Exchange period (for example, items purchased with a third-party contract such as cell phones or protection plans, holiday décor, or non-returnable items) are also excluded from the Holiday Price Match Guarantee. The guarantee applies only to Target’s own pricing and does not include price matching competitors. All other terms and conditions of the Target Price Match Guarantee apply.

Price Match Guarantee Policy Details

We won’t be beat on price.

We’ll match the current price of qualifying local and online competitors (“Qualified Competitors”) for immediately available, new products sold by Target (excluding Marketplace items, clearance, refurbished, and open-box products).

Special Considerations

• At the time of purchase, we price match these Qualified Competitors.

• We match our online and app prices in-store, and our in-store prices online or in the Target app.

• If we lower our in-store, online, or app price during the return and exchange period, we’ll match that lower price upon request.

• Our Price Match Guarantee covers new items sold directly by Target (excluding Marketplace items, clearance, refurbished, and open-box products). One price match at the time of purchase, per identical item, per customer, at the current pre-tax price available to all customers is allowed.

Our Price Match Guarantee does not cover:

• Retailers not listed as a Qualified Competitor.

• Products shipped from or sold by third-party sellers (“Marketplace Sellers”) on Target.com or a Qualified Competitor’s site.

• Pricing available only to select customer groups such as loyalty programs, paid memberships, or government exchange stores.

• Transactions from Target for Business or Target Marketplace stores on third-party websites (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Google).

• Qualified Competitor offers including contract cell phones, service prices (like delivery or installation), pre-orders, rent-to-own items, liquidation sales, trade-in offers, items marked as Black Friday pricing, or special limited-time events such as doorbusters and flash sales between the Thursday before Thanksgiving and the following Monday.

• Financing offers, bundles, subscription services, free items, pricing errors, mail-in rebates, coupon discounts, limited-quantity items, clearance, refurbished, pre-owned, or open-box items.

• Gift card promotions, membership-exclusive video game discounts, or voice-assistant-only deals (whether offered by us or by Qualified Competitors).

We may run tests of the Price Match Guarantee in select locations and can modify these terms at any time. Stores in Puerto Rico have their own Price Match Guarantee posted in-store and are excluded from matching online or app prices.
