Love the size of it and that you can use the second gen pen. I have it already because of owning a ipad pro but love having this mini as something small to take on the go. Very easy to fit in a tote without being too heavy.

Be BERY CAREFUL and check the serial number via Apple Support before opening. My first mini had been activated already tho NOT open(this is done when purchased so was a return & put back on shelf). I tried one more time and this time 6 months of the one year warranty was already gone. Apple activates a warranty based on purchase daye so when Target sells these and they get returned, they just put back on shelf. Its fristrating to think you have an item with a one year warranty ONLY to find its less than 6 months on it. ALSO when first activated apple gives you 90 days to add Apple care plus if you want to cover it better so with both these ipad that option would not even be possible. Go to "check coverage" on apple site and enter serial number before opening package so if this happens to you, you can return it with no problems. Item purchased June 19, recieved June 20 and as shown in pics warranty good till january so means someone bought it in jan and returned it and now only has 6 months left of warranty and No option to add exyra apple care plus!

Purple and Powerful
Bought in the purple color during the Apple sale event. Glad I waited because I feel like this iPad is a much better deal at the sale price! Overall, as an Apple-addict, this is my first iPad without a home button and I love it.
Love / hate
I loved the size, made it very convenient for lounging. Dislike, the build feels a bit cheap, also YT app isn’t very user friendly. Commands don’t always work first time around. I’d probably just go with a regular iPad, i returned the mini.
