8 months and still working
I’ve been having great experience with these cords. I’m writing this review on Feb 2, 2023 (Happy Groundhog Day!) and the cord I’m currently using was first used on May 27, 2022. I write the date on it because my cord usually goes through many users in my family (me, my husband, and our 3 kiddos). So it gets used frequently. It’s still doing great! I’m back to buy more!
Crummy, typical cheap chinese made product, will last for maybe 1 year, there should be a class action lawsuit on this product. Sure they start out nice and white, then they will get yellow, and then a little tear, then a big tear and bunching up at the neck, soon you'll find yourself cursing at the thing, swearing never to buy anything Apple anymore because of the intermittent charge and no charge. Be warned, there is little to no fix, it's how they make their money selling accessory ;) I would not recommend this thing to even my worse enemy on a good day.
Turtle neck
Cord looks like a turtle neck only after 2 months. Apple need to be held accountable for cheaply made products. Targets doesn’t let you return, so they should stop selling Apple products
Arrived open, used, and broken
My charging cable arrived in very used condition and did not appear to even be an Apple cable. It was dirty and cracked.
Poor quality!!
Began using this cord on 2/29/23; it is already fraying at the point of contact to my phone. I have to purchase cords every 8-9 months and it does the same thing each time. How do I return it?

Target sent me a used open charger!!

Charging junk
These chargers are junk. Poorly made. They only last about 3 to 4 months. The top casing cracks or separates from the cable even with gentle use.
Sold a used item
I realized that I was sold a used cord after the return period had already ended. The cord had exposed wire, was cracked, and had been neatly placed back in the box, damaged side down so that no one notice. Target should check these products before they put them back on the shelf if they have been returned.
