This is a great duplex printer for a small business or home office. It is a bit large and very heavy, but I have a sturdy work bench so that isnt really a problem for me, but a flimsy desk wont hold it. The print quality is very good, and print speed is pretty good after it warms up, usually about 15 seconds, or just long enough that you start to wonder if it will print or not. so far it always has! no jams so far. The one big thing is that I get regular dimming of the lights. However, to be fair, this printer is installed at the farthest possible point from the circuit breaker panel and I suspect the wiring is minimum grade, so there is some meaningful power line losses in the path. I can say however, that other devices that use a lot of power like my heavy bench power supply and hot air rework station also dims the lights, so maybe it is just the wiring causing the whole setup to brown out. I absolutely recommend this printer still, just recommend installing it as close as reasonably possible to the breaker panel.

Dunno, the jury is still out on this one. Just opened the box, and began the setup. During Step #7, the printer immediately indicated "Incompatible Toner (K)" I followed the prompts, only to continue to see the message. I called Xerox. The guy starts the call with "Yeah, weve had problems with that. Its a software thing." What? My question to Xerox was, if youve had problems with "the software thing" with this printer, then why is this printer still being sold? So, its a Friday afternoon and I wont have an answer until Monday as to whether or not this printer is even worth keeping. Theyre sending out a tech, BUT ITS BRAND NEW. In the meantime I have a brand new, known to be defective, printer. Awesome job, Xerox.

Bought to replace our old Brother. First off, same size and weight, but paper tray holds much more. They dont use conventional powder toner - its more of a wax based thing, but the color on plain paper is fantastic! Even has some gloss. Installation was completely painless and the printer was up and running on my home network in minutes. Yes, the Xerox toner sticks are higher priced than even Brothers conventional ones, but there are compatibles that are VERY reasonable. (Dont know if theyd give Pantone color though.) All in all, Im very pleased with this printer.

I got this printer because it was a home version of an office printer I use at work. Ive gotten acceptable quality prints of full colour pages nonstop out of my giant work machine, thousands at this point. As soon as I plugged this in, it was a headache to install, but that was expected. What wasnt expected, was the fact that within 100 pages, the yellow cartridge is "empty" and the other cartridges read 33%. Ive never had a similar failure on my work machine, and the cartridges are only about 50% larger. The massive disappointment is pretty apparent, but Xerox seems to want to put money in non-OEM toner producers pockets, because I refuse to pay half what I paid for the printer in each cartridge after 100 prints. TL;DR: Hard pass, not worth the hassle and needs replacement toner almost immediately. Im planning a return if I still have time.

We have used a multi-functioned printer for years but found ourselves needed to do quite a bit of printing lately. Our printer was taking up tp 10 minutes to print out one 80 page contract (yes, with colored pictures included in the body of the contract). I had forgotten what a printer was supposed to be able to do. This printer finishes printing quickly, easily and double-sided - saving us TIME, paper and frustration! This is not the printer that I would choose to print photos - but it does a fine job for contracts - just not portraits. We love it - would give it TEN STARS if possible. The double side printing s just plain fun to watch as well.... Fairly easy to set up - I ran an ethernet cable from the router to the printer, used the install disc (included) on the PCs and started printing.

Tech in The Bahamas was not smart enough to ask me what port the cable was plugged into on the back of the printer. Once it was elevated to level 2 the guy asked me, hey when you plug the printer cable in, dont you see a pop up on Windows 10? When I said no, he suggested I plug it into the OTHER port on the back of the computer. DO NOT plug into the bottom port, thats for networks, other than that, this is an amazing printer. I sell Scottsdale Real Estate, and it cranks out the most beautiful Comparative Market Analysis I have ever seen. I use Cloud CMA if anyone is wondering. P.S. DO NOT use glossy paper, it does not like it :-)

This printer was easy to set up, the speed of printing is fast, my color prints on cardstock came out really well the business cards i made look very professional. But when i printed a photo on gloss photo paper my prints came out with smears and streaked, poor photo quality. Im hoping it was because of the setting. I had it set on gloss cardstock because i didnt see a photo paper choice. All in all I am very satisfied with how the printer is performing so far.

My old Brother 4070-CDW printer, 10 years old, was on its last legs, so I was looking for an economical replacement for it - light duty but high quality. I was particularly interested in the ongoing cost of operation - which, of course, means the cost of replacement toner. Obviously, a low purchase price on a printer such as this is fine, but if the cost of toner is high, then the cost of the printer matters little. So I was pleasantly surprised with the availability of replacement toner cartridges for this printer from various 3rd party remanufacturers of toner at surprisingly low prices - far less expensive than what my previous printer required. Printer set-up was straightforward, and the printer has worked flawlessly from the very start. Ive only owned it for a short while, so I cannot comment on its durability (yet), but everything Ive seen and experienced thus far is positive. Print quality is good; print speed is also good. And what I particularly liked was that even though I run Linux, as opposed to Windows, the setup was straightforward using the drivers downloadable from Xerox. Barring any unexpected issues as I get more use out of this printer, Id rate it 6 stars if I could.

I would stay away from this printer. I ordered one and within 2 months had to have a repair technician out to repair it. I ordered another printer because I cannot be without a printer. Now I am having trouble with both printers. I am going to go back to HP.

Excellent printer and less cost per page than most ink jet printers. I figured about 5 cents a color page. My first 6510 I used "compatible" ink in it. Very very bad decision - it - screwed up the printer on month 11. Maybe 15,000 pages by then. The replacement part that messed up is $80 with no guaranteed other things will mess up in the future from the damage caused by the "compatible" ink cartridges . So I opted to buy a new 6510DNI printer at $170 Once I got my ( second) 6510, I could tell right off that bat the difference in print quality compared to my "compatible" ink 6510 printer. Never again will I buy off brand ink. Never.
