Unfortunately we dont have wireless access to use all the features of this printer. We ended up hardwiring it but it works great. We also wanted a scanner that would scan to a thumb drive and this does that. Love the two 500 sheet trays. Two sided printing and two sided scanning works awesome no need to flip the paper to print the other side. 11 X 17 printing and copying will allow us to make some of our own posters. Great options for a reasonable priced printer. We are very pleased with our purchase. It also has fax capabilities but we do not have access in our small country church. Very easy to set up.

Loved the ease of setup and the printer display window is easy to read. But we went through ALL of the small starter cartridges and got four pages printer and the dreaded OUT OF INK locked it down. You cant push it thru when one cartridge is down, it quits printing! So, we bought the XL cartridges in all colors and black and got...wait for it...seven front and back 11 x 17 pages. They were full color, but were not heavily saturated. Sadly, we returned it. I really like the Epson quality, but this ink consumption makes this not feasible for any project we had planned.

I use this printer every day in an architectural office and typically print black-and-white and color line drawings, text pages, and the occasional rendering or photograph. While this printer wont compete with the dedicated 6-color photo printer when it comes to photos it prints a darn fine image as long as you feed it quality paper and ink. Ive found that the budget "generic" inks are fine for working prints but the Epson brand inks are far, far superior for presentation and deliverable quality images. Contrary to what Epson support will tell you, this printer WILL take 12x18 paper in tray 2, you just have to create a custom paper size in the printer. Its very nice to be able to print exact 50% reductions of 24x36 sheets economically. I only have two minor gripes about this printer: 1) The paper trays dont hold much paper. Id prefer to pay slightly more for a version that held 500+ sheets in each tray (and came with three or four trays), and 2) The internal mechanisms occasionally make plastic-y squeaking noises.

I have owned this since April 4, 2018. This is a terrific printer. I really like it. Everything about it is great and works great, starting from the packaging to the well-conceived installation process to the software to the functionality. The print quality is great. Its quiet and fast. It is loaded with features and prints large format! I have yet to try printing a photo, so Ill postpone comments on that. The one thing you need to note (as many reviewers have) is that it is fairly large -- which makes complete sense, considering its capabilities -- so check the dimensions against your available space. Trust me: if you have the space, you WILL BE HAPPY you bought this printer!

Have to say that the printer I received was defective but Epson immediately sent a replacement out and it works perfectly. It is much faster than I expected (even the color printing) and is very neat and clear. I have been using Epson for years.....even bought my own printer for work because of the reliability......and I cant say enough good about the company or this particular printer. Kudos to Epson for replacing the original without any problems and to Amazon for selling them at a reasonable price!! Thank, guys!!!

The document feeder pulls through 3-4 pages at once, as does the cassette when printing. The worst part of this experience, however has been the customer service. When I called, I spent over an hour with the representative walking me through step by stem, "copy this, scan this, etc." 3-4 times on the call the printer presented the issue, and then as soon as we repeated the task and it "didnt do it" (mind you we didnt FIX anything, change anything, etc. It simply didnt do it) they said, "good, its working then, Ill give you a reference number." When I objected that one time having it function normally does not mean I wont continue to have the problem Ive been having for the past 30 days, their solution "Ill just make a note that youll monitor the printer maam". What?? Also, apparently, you cannot simply RETURN the product, when youre unhappy (mind you, its only been 30 days). They will simply "send a replacement, but I dont qualify because it is functioning properly and I have to monitor it now." UPDATE: Part two of the saga...now the printer wont recognize an EPSON ink cartridge. Ive followed step by step on how to re-isntall or fix it if it is throwing an error. Nada. This just keeps getting better

Wow, really enjoying this printer. Using it for business: posters, directions, product information, and attention grabbers. Photo quality is very good and the large format gives authenticity to whats printed since I breaks from the see it every day 8.5x11. Wifi and network printing have been easy except for needing to wake it up to process network jobs. Have had some minor issues with the thumb drive transfer also but nothing that would decrease rating IMO.

I purchased it for the 11 x 17 capabilities as well as to have just one printer instead of two. Appears to work fine but I havent figured out how to scan from the machine to the computer. It works good when controlling it from the computer (load docs then go to computer to scan), but cant get it to work when I try from the printer. Quality of Print is good. Concerned about the ink supply, but it seems to be holding up so far and have spare on hand. UPDATE: Ive now had this printer for 3 months and just replaced the black ink cartridge (the one they shipped with it, which is smaller than normal). Very happy with it and I use it for 11 x 17 prints mostly. Ive updated to 4-1/2 stars and would get five if I could figure out how to scane from the printer to the computer.

The printer is great for me. It’s my first reliable inkjet printer and it has a lot of functionality that businesses need. If you want to scan to your email address, you can type in the email server information manually using scan to email or you can use scan to cloud to scan to any email address you want without typing in the email server information manually. You can only print borderless prints in the first and rear trays and you can only print up to 13x19 in the rear tray. You can only print one 13x19 print at a time, so make sure there is one peice of paper in the rear tray at a time. It uses a lot of ink, you will only be able to print less than 10 full color, double sided 11x17 prints and less than 5 13x19 prints on XL ink cartridges. It comes with standard ink cartridges, so you have to buy additional ink if you know you are going to need more. The flat bed scanner can scan up to 11x17 at a resolution up to 600 dpi and the feeder can do the same. The flat bed scanner would be better to use for scanning photos and the feeder would be better for documents that are single or double sided. The document feeder can scan both sides of a document without intervention. This printer also operates as a FAX, which is easy to set up. Since the printer has so many settings, you might get overwheled when navigating the settings on the touch screen display. It might be easier to access the printer’s settings from your web browser and change settings from there. I have a Wired connection from my router to the printer, but it has Wireless capability that may not be as stable as a Wired connection. I have never experienced a disconnect when the printer is using a Wired connection. Please note that I am giving this printer a 4-star rating because there are limitations that aren’t specified in the product description.

The printer is great, and works wonderfully... but... the Auto Document Feeder for the scanner twists page allot, causing them to scan with a diagonal slant which makes it absolutely useless. It has twisted at least one page in every multi-page document we have scanned, even if it was a document that was just printed and never touched other then to scan it afterwords. Technical support was not helpful at all, and did not even have a conclusion to draw regarding the problem, instead, they just wanted to send a REFURBISHED replacement, although they did volunteer to pay for shipping both directions as should be expected. When I have bought a brand new item, had it for 2 months, I should not get a refurbished model regardless of what kind of economical impact they feel is necessary, that is terrible customer service in my opinion. Id like to note that sufficient evidence was sent to them via photographs etc to provide them a clear picture of the problem, and I explained the problem very well several times but the tech support was not native English speaking and their continuous repeating of "i understand the problem" when they clearly did not was not helpful. Id like to note that Im in IT Tech Support and so I know allot about all of this, and it appears the ADF has poor design as its feeder is driven entirely at the center allowing for twisting with the slightest resistance, and should in-fact have multiple traction devices spread out to ensure the page is being pulled by both side and center. Lastly it also have the problem of frequently pulling in multiple pages at once even with freshly printed, or mailed documents that have been flattened and are in good condition. At this point I do not recommend this as a multi-function printer unless your only planning on scanning on the glass, or doing the occasional batch job you can sit and baby-sit and repeat until it succeeds.
