Do not buy this!!!!! It starts off working totally fine and the first few pictures are amazing, but then it’s all downhill from there. All of my pictures starting printing out blurry and very dark. I tried changing the cartridges and nothing happened. I tried resetting and it stayed the same. Returning this right now. So bummed out.

I bought these for my two teens (17 and 18) for Christmas and they were blown away that I even had the idea. They appreciate the value of it. My son is in University and loves to print photos out to put on his wall. Turns out he was researching this exact model but its too expensive for a students budget. The photos are a great size and the color is superior to other instant print photos I have seen. The set up is super easy...they were printing photos by the time everyone else opened their next present. They were holding the photos funny at first thinking they had to let them dry, but the finished photo really is ready to go. I almost didnt get this after so many reviews about the cartridges malfunctioning when replacement ones were put in. So far so good for us on that front though : )

I’ve been satisfied with the pictures, but I wouldn’t recommend this printer to anyone. It has to stay plugged in in order to retain its charge, otherwise it rapidly loses battery. With a full charge, I turned it off two days ago. Tonight I plugged it in and turned it on — it had 30% battery. As I edited my picture, it went to 20% battery while still plugged in. Maybe mine is defective...but I regret not purchasing the HP Sprocket as I had planned.

Tried two of these now. First one had a battery problem. Replacement one also had a battery charge hold problem and the printer arrived with paper already loaded and jammed. Either this printer design is simply defective in terms of the battery or I have really bad luck.

Its great for what it does. The price is definitely one of the cheaper prices and quality is better than others that are more expensive. Only downside is that it takes a lot of battery. To be honest Im not sure if I ever fully charged it. It turned an amber color (the charging light). I wasnt too sure if that was suppose to be the green light? Since in the manuals it only says red and green. But I did leave it charging for a couple of hours 4 or more. Which I was able to print off about 7-8 photos straight in a row before it told me to charge the printer. The downside is that it did let me charge and print but then soon it told me the printer needed to be charged. It was already charging so I guess I needed to stop printing. Its good for just a couple of prints at a time, not able to do too many in a row.

This worked great for about 10 photos, and now it no longer connects to my iPhone. Kodak support was unable to help me. Now I own a white brick and a box of unusable photo paper. Very disappointed.

I read the reviews and bought this thinking it would be great. Unfortunately the colors of the prints are quite off from the original pictures. I found myself having to edit the photos with the Kodak app to lighten the pictures... but doing so reduced the quality of the print and seemed to even pixelate it some. Im no photo expert, but my full size home printer does a much better job on printing photos. I expected a printer specific to only printing pictures would do a better job, or at least as good. Anyway, I sent it back and am in search for a 4x6 portable (if you have any suggestions). This might be good as a fun toy and for little pictures from a childrens party, but other than that the business card sized photos are mostly low quality. I did get a couple to come out half decent, but the other 4 were very poor.

This mini printer printed ONE picture. In the last 72 hours all Ive been able to do with it is charge it and turn it on. The Troubleshooting guide suggests calling Customer Support, but fails to give you a number. I have been at my desk for four hours trying to track down a number. Ive been given four different numbers since starting my quest. Contacting Kodak is so much of a hassle that Ive written a letter to the Better Business Bureau.

I just got this yesterday and am absolutely amazed at the quality of the photos. Simple set-up, but I have given it 3 stars because It will not stay connected to WiFi. I have spent a good bit of the day messing with this printer. Each time I print I have to reconnect either the WiFi or reboot the printer. So far one cartridge jammed and was ruined, put in another and it has jammed twice. I just turned it off and will let it cool maybe it got too warm or something after printing 8 pictures. Disappointed I am using it to make gift tags for my grandchildren to keep since everything today is digital I thought it would be fun for them to see pictures of them through the years.

If i could have posted this review with ZERO stars, I would have!!! I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The printer was defective out of the box and did not work at all!! I returned it at the cost of nearly $30.00 and the seller would not reimbursement me that cost!!
