I could not get wireless connectivity to work for AirPrint mobile devices. I am a sophisticated tech user. I tried their utilities to debug the device and they could not find the printer over the wireless network either. I gave up, because this poor networking is unacceptable.

I dont usually write a review of the products that I purchase from Amazon 4 months ago, but Im so please with this HP printer. In the past, Ive had problems with several other brand inkjet printers. Problems in changing cartridges, running out of ink, and the hassle of cartridges not working because of infrequent use of the printer, caused me to get rid of inkjet printers. This laser printer is so much less complicated. Set-up was easy. The printer toner takes care of my printing needs, and as Ive been told, lack of use of the printer the toner will not dry out. Printing jobs and copies come out perfectly clear and very fast. Im completely satisfied with this printer.

The HP LaserJet Pro M130fw is a great printer if you are occasionally printing papers. Its fast, it connects to your email accounts, it has a scanner, printer, and fax all built into one, and you can print from your smartphone. It is also very fast and energy efficient. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no sleep mode for the printer. Its either on or off so if you want to print you have to go to the printer to turn it on. If you leave the printer on, then the screen is on 24/7 which can be annoying, otherwise, I highly suggest this product.

This printer/scanner just arrived and Ill update this review as necessary. The printer meets our needs. We rarely need color printing, and so opted for the much cheaper to operate B&W laser. Setup required about 2 hours. The instructions were adequate, but one had to carefully think through steps. The printer works well with our home network, and by direct wi-fi connect. We were pleasantly surprised that it had a feature that allowed us to remotely email a print job to the printer. At first I was dismayed by the apparent poor scanning resolution of 300 DPI, but that is only when using the automatic document feeder (ADF). If one changes the setting to Flatbed, and placing one document at a time, the scan resolution is up to 1200 DPI in color. The scanning software did once fail to reopen after closing. Others have reported this. To remedy, I opened the computer Task Manager, found the scanning software running, and killed it, and then was able to reopen. We have this printer on our home wireless network, and we have not observed any slowing of the wireless network reported by others. We have a Netgear Nighthawk router. We have enabled remote printing by email directly to the printer, and it works perfectly. This is a very nice feature to provide remote printing. We have not observed any problem, as reported by others when the printer goes to sleep. Even after days, once a remote job is sent by email, it wakes up and prints immediately. Ill update as I discover more.

The wireless printing is okay, but slow to wake after the printer goes to sleep. I decided to hook the printer directly to my modem via a LAN cable. I assigned a fixed IP address and set the sleep mode for a longer time. I also disabled the fax because every time my phone rings and the call is not a fax the printer hangs and needs to be reset. Also, the auto or manual update does not find the web. I checked for firmware updates, but there are none since August 2017. I went with a black and white laser printer because those color inkjet cartridges are not worth the money. Inkjet printers seem to sell very well, so HP does not seem motivated to perfect more economical laser printers like the M130fw.

like the looks of printer and functions, but this printer only stay online until the the sleep time expire. once in sleep mode the printer does not recovery, no wireless connectivity, wireless wizard show no wireless available. i have to unplug printer and restart. Useless for wireless , network printing. its going right back! the worst part of my ordeal with this printer is when i decided to called hp tech support, i get ppl from Philippines that doesnt know there ass from their head and keep bouncing your call from one agent to another.

Do NOT purchase this printer if your main usage is wireless. In the middle of printing the ePrint will turn off and half the document will print and the rest of it plain. IF a document actually prints, IT TAKES FOREVER TO PRINT and it will do so after few resets. HORRIBLE AND WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Bought for my mom, her scanner on her old hp all in 1 ink jet finally died. Toner costs should be very good, as it is only used for occasional printing. Ink jets always seem to clog from light use. Laser is the way to go for occasional printing. As she has not had to call me in the last few months for technical support, I know the unit is easy for her to use on her mac mini

I had to return it. The wireless component of the machine did not work. I tried many fixes, but after running the self diagnosis, the machine told me that the wireless failed. Rest of the machine seemed ok but that was not what I was purchasing. So I packed it back up and sent it back. The disturbing thing was that although it was a reconditioned machine, it was advertised as all working. It was not all working.

The copy resolution on this copier is poor. I didnt know what the copy resolution was when I ordered it since it is not listed in the Amazon product description. However, when I received the unit and first used it, I observed poor copy quality. I then went on the HP website and discovered that the copy resolution is only 400x600 dpi. Not good enough for me!! The unit prints OK but feels cheaply built. I guess I should have expected that for a printer/copier than only costs $150. I sent it back and ordered a different HP model that costs $350.
