Overall, I am thrilled at the idea of not having to shell out $100+ every few months for ink refills, especially since this seems to solve the "intentional obsolescence" that HP introduced into its printers. Im more than happy to shell out more upfront, since I think I will save money / hassle in the long term. My one disappointment so far has been with the automatic document feeder. I have tried to scan multi-page documents a few times already, and every time they get jammed in the auto-feeder, so I have to go fish them out, try again, etc. Ive tried adjusting the tray, etc. but no matter what, the paper gets stuck each time. This is a problem I rarely had with my HP printer. However, I will never buy another HP product again due to their forced obsolescence, which felt like a move made in total bad faith, so Im more than willing to put up with some paper jams here and there!

So far, the scanning is a joke. Took a chance to try something other than HP and so far I couldnt be more unhappy. Out of the box, scanning to a PC (Wirelessly) results in a PDF that needs an Asian font download from Adobe to work. Try sending your client a PDF and see how they like seeing an error opening it. We resolved this with an more than an hour of technical support from Epson which instructed me to download additional software (Some Event Manager) and tweeking settings. So to use this thing, every PC we use to scan to from the printer console needs 2 software downloads and tweeking. To make things worse, when a PC wakes from sleep, the printer doesnt recognize it. Reboot everything and you are back in business. Then the constant paper jams when trying to scan multiple documents from the feeder and I am ready to take this $399 piece of hardware and make a dent in my floor. The only reason I replaced my 20th HP is poor driver and software support but at least their all-in-ones cost $300 or less and give me a few years before the software is useless. This POS is bad out of the box. Will be seeking a refund but am just as content to use this as artificial reef material. BTW my favorite question from support was "does it print okay?"

As a law student I print a lot, and a lot of double paged documents. After printing over 2,000 pages worth of double siding printing the printer has not jammed once. Also the amount of ink this printer comes with make the higher price point completely worth it. I was spending $100 on ink every 2~3 months on my old HP printer. This printer is more compact than my old one which I like. I have no complaints.

We have used this printer for two months now in our home office and can highly recommend it. Here is why I like it: 1. Very east to set up on our wireless network and interface with our computers. Wireless connection has not dropped a single time to date. 2. Very large ink supply provided with the printer. Enough for about 20,000 pages. Replacement ink bottles are much less expensive than cartridges. 3. Ink is very easy to load. The ink tank ports are color coded and the bottle heads with only mate with the correct corresponding tank port to keep you from loading the wrong color into a given tank. 4. You can tell at a glance how much ink you have remaining by watching the exterior ink tank level windows. 5. Scanning software work very well and is easy to use. We have used it to scan and load old photos into our genealogy software. 6. Printer acts well as a copier. 7. Print copy quality have met all of our needs. The only caveat I have encounter so far is the need to print something at least once a week or so to keep the print head from drying and clogging. Bottom line - This is a very good printer and I believe you will be very pleased with its performance.

For those of you wondering how long this back order will take..... When I originally made the purchase off amazon it stated that it would take 6 weeks for the printer to be in stock. This actually ended up only being a week. Ill start off with what I dont like: -This printer costs twice as much as the HP I replaced which held 8X11 paper and photo paper. The Epson 3750 will only hold one type of paper at a time. -I cant for the life of me get the scan to computer option on the scanner its self to work via my wireless connection due to the scanner not recognizing the laptop. I can print via wifi no issues and I can use the software on the laptop to conduct scans. Ive called Epson tech support and they have been unable to determine the issue. I feel like I cant be the only one having this problem. I have a desktop wired to my router which will allow the scan to PC but the wireless just wont work. -With the HP printer I replaced I had a touch screen display which spoiled me. The Epson has a push button operation, that is functional but takes a few more selections to conduct and operation. -The printing speed is much slower than my previous printer. What I Like: -The printer takes up less space than my previous printer (the HP). -The printer came with two sets of ink bottles which I feel hold a tremendous amount more ink than an ink cartridge could. So Im hoping and thinking the you will get a tremendous amount more bang for your buck when it comes to ink. I feel like the HP we had would print out 20 pages of black and white with each ink cartridge and then we would have to spend another $20 for another cartridge. So far Ive printed out 15 or so black and white and 7 4x6 photos and the ink levels havent budged. -The Photo print quality is good and I mean that as in it does a good job, but I feel like photos printed at a printshop are slightly better. -Obviously the scanner feeder is a great time saver and stress saver. Overall this is a better than good printer and I would give 5 stars if I can figure the scan to PC via WIFI out.

I started out owning HP printers, but became disenchanted with their using 3-color cartridges, in addition to the black one. When one color ran out, youd have to replace the whole cartridge which, if I remember correctly, cost $50-60. Then, if you had one as backup and the printer decided that the date it read on it was too old, you couldnt use it at all, even though it was unused! Switched to Canon, and was very happy. Multiple cartridges for color, in addition to the one or two for black. You could see through the cartridge to verify that, when the printer said the color was out, it was OUT! But you always had to wait for the first sheet while the printer burped and farted. The resultant prints - text or photos - were excellent. But then Canon started to make printers that required opaque cartridges, and started to do multiple color cartridges. And the prices for ink went way up. So I tried this Epson. I like the way the multiple tanks fill, the cost of the ink, and the fact that they give you a TON of ink to start with. Text and photo prints are excellent! The printer responds quickly to a Print command, and prints quickly and quietly, too. Holds a lot of paper. You have only one paper tray, so you cant select envelopes or photo paper without removing what you already have as your default medium. Id take 1/2 star off for that but, since I cant, am giving the full 5. There IS one annoyance. But I think it probably should be blamed on Apple, not Epson. (I use a Mac.) I really wanted this printer to do, as advertised, and print on both sides of a page, on demand. Couldnt figure it out myself, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the driver a couple of times, restarted my Mac using Mojave operating system, etc. Called Epson support. Had to push only 2 buttons, and got a person inside of 1 minute. Big Plus. This nice lady from India(?), who was a little hard for me to understand, worked on it with me for, probably about 1/2 hour. In the end, heres the solution. BTW, the solution also worked on an old favorite Canon that would also no longer duplex. Hope this info saves someone from going as bald as I am becoming, due to this, as well as other age issues! Here you go: How to do 2-sided (duplex) printing on Epson ET-3750 1. Click Print 2. Click drop-down in name of application. Ex.: TextEdit 3. Select Printer Features 4. Scroll WAY down to Binding Edge and select 2-sided Long Edge 5. Then, 4 selections below that, turn 2-sided printing ON 6. LEAVING THAT WHOLE SELECTION BOX OPEN, click Print at the bottom. After printing that document, 2-sided printing will default back to Off, and you will have to go through the whole process again in order to duplex another document.

My previous printers were HP and Kodak. Both worked well but I got tired of spending so much $$$$ for ink. The Kodak was better with their ink prices but overall not by much. Sadly much of the current Ink Jet market is pretty much the same. Printer prices are cheap. Ink prices are $$high$$. This Epson ET-3750 Eco-Tank changes all that. Yes you pay a little more for the printer but it comes with 2 complete sets of 4 ink bottles which equates up to a 2 YEAR supply of included ink! Of course thats dependent on actual usage but so far it looks like Ill get close to a year on a set of ink bottles - perhaps 9 or 10 months. A complete set of Epson ink bottles (BK,C,M,Y) is around $60. Printer installation was smooth. Installing the ink was easy without any mess. It prints fast, is reasonably quiet, and print quality is crisp. The Epson printer software is ok and gets the job done but its not as nice as the Kodak interface. Bottom Line, the Epson ET-3750 is a Keeper and a welcome change to the over priced cost of ink.

Great for light home office use. I used to HATE InkJets, this printer helped me give Inkjets another chance. My preference for Black and White documents is any Brother B&W Laser Printer. My preference for economic Color documents is the Epson WorkForce EcoTank Printer (which I also use for Black & White documents now). Pros Size. If you compare the Epson WorkForce to the typical Color laser printer, theres a big difference in size and weight. A few years ago, I didnt realize how big and loud a color laser printer is until I bought it. This Epson WorkForce is a nice addition especially if you are limited on space. Cost. I love being able to replace a single color (Black, Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow) rather than the entire color cartridge. I no longer have to stress when the printer stops working when it needs yellow or print documents that look terrible. I hated throwing away ink cartridges that still had ink in it. It was a waste. Color laser printers are similar to this printer, since each color has its own cartridge. However, for the typical home office color laser printer, the replacement can cost around $60 for ONE COLOR. For this printer its less than $20 per color for OEM, less than $5 per color after market. Functionality. Wireless. Scanner. Copier. Duplex. This is not unique to this printer, but when I purchase a printer, I make sure it has... - Wireless capability so that I am flexible of where I place it and so that I am able to print from any computer with ease. - Duplex so it can print back and front Cons. Paper Tray. Im used to larger capacities for paper. If you print out a hundreds of pages at a time, this may not be for you. Print Quality. The Print Quality is better than I expected but dont expect perfect. It gets the job done, it looks professional but dont buy this to print out the best prints. Printer Heads. With Laser printers you dont have to worry about printer heads. If you dont use your printer a lot, the heads my clog. You can clean to maintain it, but this may seem cumbersome. The bottom line: This printer provides a real solution to help customers save money on ink.

I bought this printer for my small business, lured by promises of long-lasting ink supplies. Ive used it for one day and Im sending it back. The only pro in my humble opinion is the small footprint. The cons: I have now printed a total of 208 copies and have had to run the printhead cleaning function 5 times which takes 3-4 minutes a time. My printouts are grainy and washed out. And when its in "high quality" print mode it took nearly an hour to print 100 pages. Im not the biggest business on the block by any stretch but it is very important to me that the materials I print out are of pretty decent quality. These printouts reminded me of something I would have expected from a printer in 1998, not 2018. Ive never purchased Epson before, and I wont bother again. Dont waste your money.

After 2 weeks of use: Mostly Im comparing this ET-3750 to our old HP8500 that was on its last legs after about 7 years. First though I want to say that we (Wife and I) bought an EcoTank printer because Im sure we spent at least $2k on cartridges for the HP and I was just SICK of paying their redecleous tariff at $100 a set. The idea though was to get a new printer without loosing any features. Interestingly We paid ~$350 for both units, although inflation adjusted I guess that makes the ET-3750 cheaper... I will say that in researching specs for this purchase I had a bit of trouble identifying the key differences of the mid-range Epson ET models so in this review Im identifying some of the base differences. The good: - THE COST AND CONVENIENCE OF KEEPING INK SUPPLIED!!!! - Print, Scan, Copy. - ADF: Since this model has a ADF (Auto Document Feeder) it is capable of scanning and copying legal sized documents. The lesser ET models dont have this ADF feature. - Setup was easy, although a bit time consuming because you have to go through the print alignment procedure which requires user input. Plan on spending about 45 min going through the entire setup. - Since Im comparing the ET to the HP, the ET is about 1/3 the weight. The 3750 also has a smaller form factor than the old HP by about 1/3. - Comes with an extra set of ink bottles (4 for the initial fill and 4 for later). - Ink filling: filling with ink is idiot proof since the tops of the different colored ink bottles are keyed differently so you cant put the wrong color in an ink reservoir and I really couldnt see how one could spill the ink. - It keeps the color ink heads primed and fluid by using a little bit of color ink during black printing; most of what we print is B&W. - Paper feeder and output tray are both in the front so no reason under normal operation to need to access the back. The lower model (2750) has the paper tray in the back. - 2 sided printing on letter sized paper. 2 sided legal is a 2 step operation. - Wired (RJ45) and wireless connections. USB too. - Apple device compatibility. - Border-less printing. - It prints on light card-stock - sorry I dont know the weight of my material. Maybe #65? The not-so-good: - The ink isnt as bright as the old HP. This is the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. (I only tried on plain paper - maybe it works better of photo paper?) - Since the flatbed glass is ~8 3/4" x 12" it is not capable of scanning or copying a legal sized document that will not go through the ADF. The old HPs glass was >14" in length. - The unit is a little noisy - or at least more-so than our old HP. - No touch screen on this ET-3750 model. You need to go up a model to get that and the old HP had it. This means that the ET-3750 user interface is a little clunky. Looking today I see (on Amazon) they dropped the price of the 4750 (touch screen) to the same price as the 3750 of ~$350. :-( - No fax capability - not that I used that on the old unit... The ET-4750 has this. - only 1 print tray so when you want to print legal you have to change the paper. - in order to scan or copy from both sides you have to feed pages manually. - No label printing. Neither a + or a - the ET-3750 print speed is Ok for my purposes - and about the same as the old HP. All in all, we are very happy with this printer. It does seem a bit archaic not having a touch screen though.
