I got this because my HP printer keeps saying it is out of paper when it is not. It goes through the motions but doesnt seem to "grab" the paper anymore and I am also one of those frustrated with the cost of ink cartridges and lack of value you get from it. The install was pretty straight forward. I installed it on 3 different computers and had very little issues. I had some hiccups with connecting to the first computer but the other 2 were a breeze. I followed all the steps for filling the reservoirs and had zero issues. It boots up much faster than my HP and have had no issues with my prints. I only use it about once a month to print one of my checking account statements and print on both sides, again zero issues. I have not experienced the print heads drying out or having issues with printing after it sits for a month. It is not a touch screen and navigating the menus does take a little getting used to but so far that is something I can live with considering all the other positives. I do hope the ink lasts as long as they advertise.

It prints great, other than the limitations of not having a rear tray, its fast, nice quality, pretty quiet and does double side printing extremely well. However my experience with the scanner has been horrible. I have had problems with it since I purchased the product. Its terrible, after hours, and I do mean hours on the phone with Epson and hours of working on it myself it still does not function properly. I got to the point where I was using a scanner app on my phone. Six months ago I gave up and got my old Canon out to use as my scanner. I have never had an issue with a Canon and have owned several, in fact I have a large format Canon now. Last night I finally gave up and thought maybe it is my system so I reloaded Windows. I installed the Epson using updated software, drivers, and firmware but nothing has changed. When I do get a scan the quality is horrible, now I cant even get rid of all the software remnants after the uninstall. Growing up I was always told if you dont have something nice to say then say nothing at all, well I just broke the rule. Epson will do absolutely nothing about it, they told me something along the lines of "sir its out of the return period". I owned an Epson years ago and had issues with it. I said I would never purchase an Epson again. I should have listened to myself. I gave my Mom my Canon Mega-Tank since she needed a printer and purchased the Epson thinking it was going to be a step up. Today I am going to buy a new Canon and am literally throwing the Epson in the garbage. I tried to give it to my Dad and he wont even take it, he said "nope I am sticking with my old Canon". I thought about posting a picture of it in the trash but figured that was a little over the top. I have to minimize my losses, get to work and not spend weekends and evenings trying to get my scanner to function properly. I mean really, if I did something wrong I understand lets just fix it. Epson has lost me forever, never again will I even think about purchasing an Epson product. I am technically savvy and generally can get an issue corrected. Things just "happen" with computers and devices, they are complicated and I understand that but this issue is well beyond my capabilities. So here I am on a Sunday morning still trying to get things back to normal on my computer.

I have had this printer for several months and am very pleased with overall value and capabilities with printing, scanning, and copying. I searched for a multi-function ink tank printer that prints auto double-sided and fits in my roll-top desk. This printer is perfect, although I do have to slide it forward if I want to use the document feeder for scanning but the flatbed scanner is typically all I need. The wireless printing works great from our household computers and mobile phones. It is soooo nice not having to replace costly ink cartridges all the time, and not having to figure out how to recycle ink cartridges. And double-sided printing saves on paper costs. The only issue Ive had is not Epsons fault, but Microsofts Windows 10 updates -- the last one uninstalled the printer software and disconnected the driver so I had to reinstall everything. Thankfully, Epson made it easy to find what I needed.

UPDATE 6/4/19: Original review is below for purchase on 11/01/18. It is now a full 7 months later, and the ink levels have barely moved. Ive attached a photo taken 5 minutes ago that shows the blank ink just below the second notch and all others just below the first notch. Unbelievable that a printer company made a printer that actually can use ink sparingly and not suck it dry just to sell us jacked up ink cartridges every 2 months. And weve gone through at least 3-4 (maybe 5-6) reams of 750-count plain paper and printed probably a dozen 8x11 full page glossy color photos and a couple of dozen glossy 4x6 photos. Id give it 15 stars if I could. Otherwise same positives and negatives as in the original review below. Highly recommend this printer!! Quick review to say that this thing really does use ink as slowly as Epson advertises. I bought this a couple of months ago and the ink tanks (which you can see through the little windows as well as check in the software settings) are still 98% full. The printer prints pictures on glossy paper just as nicely as my canon printer did. No issues at all with wifi connections with any of the computers at home, unlike the canon which lost connections daily. Only complaint I have about this is the less than user-friendly settings for setting up scanning preferences. For example, if there is a way to scan in B&W instead of color, I cant figure out how to set it up. So color it is, which results in larger files (PDF or JPG). Also I tried scanning a photo and it turned out awful, and I couldnt find any settings to tweak things like the levels/colors of the scan. But, cell phones have such good cameras and scanning apps now it is easy to scan pictures that way. The expected super-duper low price of replacement ink makes up for the scanning issues (to me) to keep this printer at 5 stars. Finally a company that is not raping you over the ink cost. This alone will keep me buying Epson.

This Epson ET-3750 EcoTank replaced a Epson WF-7620. I *VERY* reluctantly purchased another Epson as my WF-7620 was a horrible printer from day one. Color never printed correctly, spotty printing, plagued with wireless printing issues, replacing ink constantly ($$$$), etc. My printing life frustrations disappeared with the purchase of ET-3750. I just dont think about printer problems or even ink anymore. It just works. To look at the ET-3750 printer and see the EcoTank ink levels still at 90% after a month of printing is awesome. We own multiple Apple products (iPhone, iPads, etc.), and all can print wirelessly with zero headaches. I did read that if the large tank printers sit idle for a while they can dry/clog, so to minimize this risk, I setup windows to automatically print a weekly color test page in the evening. Needed? Maybe not, but with buckets of ink in the reservoirs, who cares - its a simple way to help mitigate any clogging issues from sitting idle. Cons: - No secondary or rear paper feed. If you want to print using another type paper, you must add to main paper tray. - Main paper tray is small and could be easier to access - Does not support large (11x17) paper (but I knew this prior to purchasing) - A touch screen display would be more efficient than key/arrow menu selections

Okay, that headline was a boldfaced lie: I’m not married. But if I were married and if the grotesque price of ink cartridges threatened that marriage somehow, this printer might save that hypothetical marriage. It comes with two sets of ink bottles which each fully fill up the tanks from empty. When I first filled it there was a little ink left in each bottle, but after it settles and runs the test print I was able to get the rest in. Unlike the Canon Megatank printers which just have a stopper on an open hole to pour ink into, these have a keyed intake and air release. Why is that important? Because it not only prevents spilling ink, it prevents the much worse issue of putting the wrong ink into each tank and forever taunting the printer. I used to work in tech services, and you may be surprised how often that happens. It is a bit larger than I might truthfully want for a printer, but it’s certainly a lot smaller than a color laser printer and a lot cheaper to set up. Since it is an inkjet, you really ought to print something every 2 weeks even if only a single page to keep the ink from drying in the printhead. It does support remote printing, so you can do that from anywhere, even if away from home for an extended period. In terms of print quality, I am quite satisfied. Had I gone with a laser printer, I would not have this high dpi. That and the total setup cost were what pushed me to the Ecotank over laser. Personally, I don’t print that much and any paper I buy will last a long time. If you’re like me, I highly recommend getting a higher weight, higher brightness paper. I use Staples Premium 98 bright, 24lb paper, though any brand of the same will be indistinguishable. If you’re just printing text documents then that’s probably overkill unless it’s for a customer-facing document for your business. The difference is at once subtle yet definitely noticeable. For pictures I think 20lb paper feels cheap and 92 bright makes a poor canvas. Again, this is aimed at people who are looking primarily for print quality. You can’t judge that properly on crap paper. For those looking for economy and primarily printing, say, school papers, don’t bother with good paper. Good paper can be twice as expensive and you really don’t need it for printing out a recipe or essay or research article.

The automatic document feeder is REALLY cheap, very thin plastic: doubt that it would last. Double-sided scanning is not an advertised feature, but had assumed that this could be done "by hand" and on my old HP. Not so, youre just out of luck. The scanning feature even for single side is more complicated than it should be. I was unwilling to live with these considerable shortcomings and returned the printer. I loved the EcoTank feature however and wound up purchasing the ET-3700 (no ADF) locally when I found them on sale with a $100 rebate for any old printer trade in. I print with my ET-3700 and scan with my old HP OfficeJet 6000A Plus and its great ADF for scanning.

I want to like this printer. The low-cost ink option was the selling point for me. I bought it to print out copies of artwork such as paintings, watercolor work etc onto card stock. I scan the artwork and the only editing I do is to crop out a bit of the edges that I dont want on the card. When I go to print them the color is nothing like the original no matter what setting I have the printer on. "standard" "best" "vivid" etc... Color is way off and too dark or intense. Maybe its me but I just cant get the color right and am thinking of returning it and going back to my HP inkjet with the expensive cartridges. If anybody has any suggestions before I give up on this printer please comment.

Our Epson 3750 is about a year old. I am using the Epson 3750 with two Apple IMacs using wireless connections The good news is that after more than a year, it still works and we have hardly put a dent in the ink supply. But I want one sided printing - my daughters teachers require it on papers and I need it for tax returns. No matter if you select one sided in the printer software controls options - it prints all multi-page documents as duplex. The scanner is adequate for home use, but when I use the document feeder, it scans each page as a separate pdf file. There is a lot of trial and error to get the scanner to link up wirelessly to my iMac. The small control screen on the printer is pre-2000 technology. It is a small colored LCD screen that appears to have touch controls. But this is a fakeout. The control and setting options needs to be manipulated by up/down left/right arrows on the keyboard. The process is tedious and it is not clear how to navigate. Another annoying thing is that there are periodic screen notifications that a new firmware image is available. I get one of these every month or so. I think hooray! - they fixed the duplex printing issue, or the lousy screen navigation. But no - nothing changes - I just wasted a few minutes uploading new firmware for no apparent benefit. They are probably adding support for new computer models but why waste all their customers time on this.

The ADF on top was finnicky from the start. It often wouldnt recognize when pages were put in there. After one month, when told there was a paper jam I removed the pages and a roller piece came off with little plastic bits and small metal springs going all over the place. Ive owned Epson workforce printers in the past, and this one is significantly less sturdy looking than past models.
