One of the main reasons we bought this printer is to be able to print double-sided pages for books that will be cropped to size and spiral bound. The printer driver does not allow you to center the document on the page, which makes the margins not line up on the front and back side of the page when printing duplex. This makes binding on one edge impossible! Okay so far in other respects, like printing one-sided documents and CDs. But a $200 printer could have sufficed for that, so we just paid $500 too much for a printer that doesnt meet our needs. Very disappointed.

Paid $550 a year ago. As a high volume user this has paid for itself by not having to buy ink cartridges. I typically would go through 10 complete 5 color sets of XL cartridges each year. After a year I still have almost half the ink the printer came with. I love the wide format as I can print 11x17 patterned paper as needed in the desired design, so I save on paper storage space. I would definitely buy this again. That said, there are a few things to know. 1) Youre not replacing the print heads as you do with cartridges, so these will need to be cleaned periodically. There is a "maintenance box" that stores ink from cleaning the heads. When its full you replace it, which Ive had to do once. The printer came with one spare. A new one is less than $20. 2) The printer does best when used every day, or close to it. The longer it sits, the more cleaning you will need to do. If youre not printing much, I dont see why you would buy this anyway. 3) The front auto feed tray does best with plain copy paper. Put anything else through the rear paper feed, which enables the paper to go straight through and out, rather than curve inside the printer. Anything heavier in the front feed seems to run into problems curving around to print. I suspect the leading edge of the paper pops up and is butting into the print heads, and you end up with black ink smears. That said, Ive even printed magnets using the REAR feed with no problems. 4) Number 3 has made it necessary to clean ink off the inside paper path. I use sterile alcohol wipes. If youre afraid of that sort of thing, dont get this printer. 5) Due to 3, automatic double sided printing is really only doable with plain standard weight #20 copy paper. Even #32 copy paper is a problem. This is a great printer, and well worth the money, if you are the user it is intended for. It is not a printer for someone who primarily is after fast document printing, or someone using only a couple sets of cartridges a year. The printer is designed for someone who does a lot of color image printing, and is comfortable doing a bit of maintenance to save hundreds on cartridges.

I research many printers and settled on the ET-7750 because of the Eco-Tank feature. Unfortunately, for critical printing its falls very short of the mark. For everyday printing its passable. Printheads constantly clog and it is next to impossible to completely unclog printheads. Im unable to align print heads to remove dark stripes. Ink never drys on Epson high quality gloss paper, even after days of sitting. Power cleaning worked once, but now I have same poor printing issues. You should know that power cleaning fills up the ink waste bin fast, yes you get an extra one, but Im not power cleaning again without buying a backup waste bin. Wont print when bin is full. Customer support was not able to solve my issues. They simply walked me through the booklet and online steps. I outlines all these issues months ago with an Epson research firm and have not heard back. A case of marketing only wanted to hear what they are looking for. In the end, after setting the printer up, calibrating and getting it hookup up to my network, I rolled over and just played dead. Didnt want to go through this again. I dont expect to see this review on line. Im sure it will be scrubbed.

Very clean-looking printer with easy set-up quick-start guide using the display panel and a provided cd. Ink bottles were very easy to load, but you must follow instructions. Wi-fi was a breeze to set-up as it identified the available wi-fi signals (you just need to select yours and then enter your wi-fis password). Loading paper was a little tricky....for everyday printing use, tray 2 would be the one to use at it holds 100 sheets. Tray 1 is mostly used for photo paper and printing on media (a cd accessory is provided and stored under the unit....you must use printable cds). This is a printer not a fax machine. It can print text, copy, and scan. It does print on both sides. It prints on various sizes of paper so review the specifications on-line if you are particular about your requirements. Dont let the pictures fool you....it is not a small unit, but it is sleek. A lot quieter than my Hp Photosmart printer. It uses 5-ink bottles and Epson provides two sets in the box. Ink stops flowing into the tank automatically when it is full. It is also "no-drip" bottles (although always use caution when loading printer inks). It also allows you to use a PictBridge enabled camera to directly connect to the usb port located in front. A card slot is also provided. Register the unit quickly and youll get two years of manufacturers warranty for free! Definitely not a cheap home printer (banking on the cheaper ink bottles to eventually offset the cost).

Pretty much worthless for large projects. At best, the tray holds 25 pages. Great idea. Poor execution. It does print quality, you just need to be tethered to it to reload the tray.

This compact large-format EcoTank printer has a surprising number of fantastic features! The regular 8.5” x 11” paper tray is not very large capacity, but it’s easy to add more paper when needed, *plus* you can keep your smaller photo paper loaded at the same time and print photos with ease! I’ve recently discovered that Epson’s cloud printing functions are surprisingly easy to use, allowing you to print from your cloud folder or Dropbox literally from *anywhere* you have internet access. In other works, you can actually print from a coffee shop to your printer as long as the printer is turned on at home. Note: If you’ve forgotten, it will save documents in the cloud for printing at home once you turn it on when you get home. Another example of the cloud printing in action is that you can take a photo where you have cell coverage, access the cloud printing email address, and the photo will instantly be printed (on photo paper) at home while you are out-and-about. The inks? Color printing — even on photo paper — is surprisingly great. And lest you think color printing is expensive, think again! Because of the EcoTank ink tanks they go on, and on, and on, seemingly never running out! That said, when you go through the plentiful ink it’s *very* easy to refill cleanly and without hassle. They’ve designed the bottles to securely mate with the tops of the “tanks” so there is not any spilling or mess. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase!

Ive been using this for about 6 months now, and Im very happy with it so far. Using it almost exclusively for photo printing, and the quality is outstanding. Max size is 11 x 17. Ive been printing mostly 8 x 10 and 11 x 14. My other Epson, a WorkForce (which I like and still use), would have run out of ink long ago. I realize this cost about $500 more, but my ink tanks are still about 3/4 full and thats the first of two sets of ink bottles that comes with it. Unless the quality of the photo prints Im getting goes downhill in the next 2 years, I think it was a good purchase.

First let me say I purchased this printer so I could actually print photos. My old Canon Inkjet still worked but the cost of ink cartridges just made it so expensive to print much. You pay more upfront with this printer but if you add up all the cartridge sets Ive purchased I could have bought over two of these. Im updating my review to reflect the second printer I received. The first one was returned as it occasionally would smear the print. So far this one has worked flawlessly. I have made several 11X17, 8X10, 5X7 and 4X6 prints. They all turned out great. The setup takes a little longer but is very easy. I like being able to print 11X17 photos. I will do some more printing in next week or two and will update my post if needed.

This printer is good, but not great. What i love about it is the EcoTank feature where I get a ton of ink for a reasonable cost and that the printer prints 11x17 photograph quality beautifully. What I hate about it are the paper trays. They are near useless to me. They are flimsy and the printer rarely is able to grab the paper out of the tray and then gives me the paper out warning. So, I just use the rear sheet feeder 100% of the time. Which is fine, because Im shifting from photo paper to bond paper to envelopes, etc. all the time.

Apparently a common problem specifically in the world of artists with Epson printers is their wheel design. What happens is as the printer spits out the paper it has a couple extra guide rollers that will roll along the page to guide it to a proper exit from the printer to the tray. Unfortunately, in many cases these rollers cause the images to smear or have track lines through them due to the ink not being 100% dry when they start rolling along. I did not have this problem with photo paper ever, but I did with other various things I was printing. So I had to return it. As far as the overall quality of the prints and colors, though, its fantastic. I was pretty disappointed, though, I really liked the printer a lot.
